The dental facility of Laurel Smile Dentistry (located in Oakland, CA) is an excellent place to get all of a persons dental requirements taken care of in a professional, courteous and timely manner. Dr. Mussie Sibhatu is a well trained and experienced dentist of the highest degree. His dental assistants and staff are also highly trained, responsive and extremely helpful in performing their many different tasks. Dr. Sibhatu has performed a bridge replacement and deep cleaning on my teeth. He also performed a complete brace procedure on my wifes upper and lower teeth. They are now completely straight and highly appealing. My wife and I are both very happy and content with all the dental work performed by Dr. Sibhatu. He is a gentle and caring individual and listens to your concerns about your dental issues. My experience at Laurel Smile Dentistry has been nothing short of amazing! I transferred my care from an office located in the peninsula and I cannot tell you how much services are inflated on the other side of the bay! So I went "shopping" around for a second opinion since I was told my tooth needed to be extracted and I would need an implant. I was greeted by awesome, professional staff and Dr. Sibhatu himself was very pleasant and genuine. He never rushed me, he answered all my questions thoroughly, and most of all I did not feel pressured. That was very important to me as my previous dentist hassled me to get things done. Thanks to Dr. Sibhatu, I have my implant, which was about $2,000 cheaper than I was told elsewhere and I went back to Laurel Smile to change an old crown so that it looks more natural. The hygienists are very good as well. I didnt know I was being rushed at other offices, but they actual take the time to clean your teeth properly!

I have been going to Laurel Smile Dentistry more than four years now: I am so happy and satisfied withe their services and professionalism. Dr. Sibhatu is very knolligable in all aspect of dental issues, he is so helpful, he is highly regarded profecinal and at the same time he is friendly. The entire stuff who work at the office are; very professional, friendly, they treated you like family. Evertime I visit whether for regular cleaning, General exam or any treatment they treat me like I am VIP. Most off all they are very good in cominicating clearly, explain things you need to do, flexible scheduling ; they are even open Saturdays and late antil 7pm on a regular days. It is very rare to find dentist who you can trust. can acomodate you for any need you have, but this place is greate for everyone who need dental work. I highly recommend this place for anyone who need dental work. Thank you for good work

Although I was happy with the results and eager to have my braces taken off after what seemed to be an eternity, Dr. Sebhatu assessed my situation carefully and convinced me to be patient for a couple of months more. And I am glad he did because the final outcome is even better, as he predicted it would be. Dr. Sebhatu’s professionalism and gentle mannerism certainly gave me the confidence that he cares deeply about his customers. From day one, I knew I was in good hands. Obviously Dr. Sebhatu’s values are also reflected very well in his office staff. Not surprisingly, Lisa, Ashley and Michelle took good care of me during my many visits. I chose Laurel Smile Dentistry because it is close to home. I was happy to find it a bright, clean environment with friendly, efficient professionals from front office to treatment room. Everyone did their utmost to make me comfortable. My check-up, x-rays, and cleaning with Dr. Solomon and her assistant Sonia were all painless. Dr. Solomon quickly identified a problem which has been bothering me for years. They used a camera to photograph my teeth, so I could see them, as the doctor explained. Other equipment seemed modern and up-to-date in comparison to some past dentists I used. When I returned to have more work done, I was greeted by name without having to stand in line or sign in. I can definitely recommend this dental practice to others.

Dr. Mussie is a dental genius . .I used to hate going to dentists but its actually a pleasure going to Dr. Mussies. His attention to detail and precision in more severe dental matters that makes me want to recommend others . Hes so polity , nice and wise business person and I never see like this wiseness in Ma life . He has a very clean facility and his staff members are efficient and caring. Best service I have had in a very long time! I usually dread going to the dentist, but the customer service was great and the staff was so awesome, I am looking forward to mine and my childrens upcoming visits. Everyone greeted me with a hello & a smile. The dental hygenist talked me throuigh my visit step by step, letting me know what she was doing. And before I left, I got my referral, which is rare, and also an itemized procedure shhet of what I need done. It was a huge help and time saver that I was able to fill out all necessary forms online, and before my appointment.

My husband and I fell very lucky to have moved walking distance to Laurel Dentistry. Weve been getting our dental cleaning services twice a year for the past couple of years. The staff is knowledgable, kind, and willing to help. When I first moved to the Laurel District, I was suffering from TMJ pain; past dentist was not able to help, Kaiser..not really; however, Dr. Sibhatu explained throughly what caused the pain and how he could help. Extremely grateful for his guidance given that i had been in pain for over 8 months. Other services; 100% happy :-)

Been getting my cleanings here for a couple years with no complaints. Just had my first filling in 5 years and it went smoothly. Working with them on possibly getting braces. I like that they take the time to explain the situation in a way I understand so I can make an informed decision. Theyve also kept me on track with what brushing habits are going well and which need to be improved. My last two visits have been "exemplary" because of this (the cavity, if you were wondering, was a long time coming; hovering on the cusp of should-it-be-drilled).
