I, too, have been going the the group for years and was satisfied until this year. The office manager seems to have turned this into a money grubbing business (on top of being disorganized, misplacing my order, reordering, then forgetting that order; then realizing that she ordered the wrong item, then repeating the whole spiel). Vastly OVER CHARGING seems to be the new policy. She must make a good commission on the sales. It is unfortunate. I liked working with the doctors, but at that office the tail appears to wag the dog and if the docs do not reign in that office manager or replace her, there is no use going back.

Ive been going to Austin Optometry for about 5 years now and I used to be happy with the service until recently. My husband and I got the same type of glasses but our pricing was different. My glasses were 200 dollars more than his and when I asked why the woman said they made a mistake in his favor. I called our insurance provider because weve always had excellent coverage and they said that I was in fact overcharged and that they would issue a refund. I was very upset that the insurance had provided me a refund instead of Austin Optometry. This was disappointing and I will not be returning.

I highly recommend Austin Optometry Group! The optometrists and staff provide a high quality of service with a friendly and warm touch! My husband and I had the wrong prescriptions for our lenses from the previous optometrist we had been to. The staff at the previous place kept insisting that we would "get used to" the lenses, but we never did. A friend recommended Austin Optometry Group, and they confirmed that we had the wrong prescriptions, and they provided us with the correct ones. My husband and I are happy to be clients, and will remain clients of Austin Optometry Group!

I checked out some glasses but was not given any information on them other than this is the cost - no break down ~other than told to call if I wanted them. I spoke with a rep from VSP at work on Friday and they asked me some questions and I realized I couldnt answer since I wasnt provided the information. A little disappointed as I told someone else about the glasses I had considered and they asked why didnt they give me a print out of costs, etc.

BEST EYE DOCTOR IVE EVER BEEN TO. Dr. Austin listened to every detail about what was going on and realized I needed to wear my glasses all the time opposed to just reading glasses which they eye doctor I saw just three months before said!!! My headaches that Ive had my entire life have gone away, works easier, and I feel safer driving and reading is great! I am so grateful I found his office.

Always a great experience. Friendly office staff, minimal wait times, thorough examinations, & good communication. Good selection of frames and ongoing discounts. If you want to purchase eyewear elsewhere this office will give you your prescription with no argument, but its so easy to take care of everything in one visit here.

Everyone there was amazing from the moment I stepped in the door. I was in and out of there in less than an hour and I got the cutest glasses ever. Cant wait to get them. I would highly recommend this place to anyone needing an eye exam or new glasses. Great customer service!

Dr. Austin was great! He made sure I understood what he was telling me and that I didnt have any questions. The staff were wonderful. Jennifer explained all the things I was covered under and how much everything would cost me. No pressure low stress visit to the eye doctor.

Ive been going to thie Optometrist for while - I think about 10 years now! Theyre great - the staff is very helpful, knowledgeable and coureous! Theyre always great in helping me pick my glasses, and making sure my eyes are happy and healthy!

I hate this place. Upsell, upsell, upsell and they nickle & dime you for EVERYTHING. They are also argumentative when you question any cost. save the aggravation and go someplace less greedy.
