The first time I went to Lenhardt Opt. Group I was didnt know what to expect so I thought itd be the usual boring doctors visit that I had experienced elsewhere. But that wasnt the case here. This place is actually fun & professional. Dr. Lenhardt ("Dr. Mike") helps put everyone at ease with his relaxed yet extremely knowledgeable personality. He explains things intelligently and in an understandable way. I wish I had him for a professor back in college =) Dr. Mike and his staff were very helpful and patient with me (Im a perfectionist) in choosing a great pair of glasses that I love. Ive been back will keep going back. Its obvious this guy knows his stuff and genuinely cares about his customers. Im no expert but I think thats a rare thing these days and when I find people/places like here I want to say "thank you" by getting the word out. I recommend him to my friends who have reported similar good experiences so Im glad there are doctors like Dr. Mike who are excellent in their field and who know how to make people feel important.

Having gone in for my first-ever eye exam, I was pleasantly surprised by the entire examination process at Lenhardt Optometric Group. “Dr. Mike” maintains a professional but down-to-earth demeanor that is something both rare and welcome in any field of allied health. He takes the time to educate his patients on the examination process, his findings, and general information about the eye, which leaves you with the sense that he TRULY LOVES what he does. This, above all else, is what sets Dr. Mike apart from other allied health professionals that I have worked with in the past. He puts every effort into telling you exactly what you need, and, more impressively, what you don’t need. The atmosphere in the front office is very welcoming and accommodating. I would highly recommend Lenhardt Optometric Group to anyone.

I have had only pleasant experiences by telephoning or walking in to Dr. Lenhardts office for my appointments. The staff is sincere, friendly, organized and professional. Dr. Lenhardt has provided me with first-class treatment, using up-to-date equipment and procedures; and importantly, his warm welcome, down to earth, and kind character has made me very comfortable as his patient. My high reviews can be underscored as they are coming from someone who suffers anxiety from an eye phobia! I can also comment for my husband who is a patient equally impressed with Dr. Lenhardts office. Thank you Dr. Mike and staff.

I first visited Dr. Mike in October 2006. Having been his patient for a little over a year I must say Ive been very happy that he is my eye doctor. I am not someone who knows much about glasses but I was impressed that Dr. Mike took the time to explain things to me and paused to show me glasses that would wear well for my job. I was pleasantly surprised when, after three weeks or so, the flaxseed oil (vitamins) he recommended helped relieve my dry eyes. The office is beautiful, the staff is friendly and the prices for things are much more reasonable than other doctors I have visited. I highly recommend!

Dr. Mike is the best eye doctor Ive ever been to hands down. A friend suggested him to me a few years back when I was looking for an eye doctor. He is very knowledgeable and informative. He explains what each test is for and even tells you why he is doing them. It makes the visit educational. He also always finds me good rebates on lenses and lets me know what my cheapest option is. Lenhardt Optometric Group definitely looks out for their patients. I have recommended them to several of my co-workers and they feel the same way.

I went to Lenhardt Optometric because I had lost our vision insurance and I had a coupon. I was just looking to save money on a new pair of glasses that I knew I would need. However, I will go back because the care I received was excellent all the way around. I liked my former optometrist, but my experience at Lenhardt was even better--and so far beyond what I had anticipated. Excellent patient care; highly recommended!

Most places are like "OK NEXT"....NOT this place they are more than willing to help and take their time with you no matter how brief or how long. EXCELLENT! I had a great time, as usual. The staff and Dr. Mike are wonderfully genuine and friendly. Dr. Mike explained everything to me in words I could understand, and I didnt feel rushed to get out of there. Clean space, nice selection of glasses (though still not as big as at the Eye Institute). They make me feel at home and thats why I came back.
