I have found my new dentist! I appreciate the professionalism of Dr Kim and his staff. Heres my saga of how I ended up here. For many years, I faithfully had my 6 mos checkups and rarely had dental issues. Then my dentist retired and our family moved to the Upland area. Out of geographic convenience and not knowing any dentists in the area, we went to an office nearby. I felt they were trying to sell me all the time, on every visit. In short, I could not trust the dentist and finally quit going at all. After 5-6 years, I decided I needed to address the health of my teeth. So I started researching, based on online reviews, dentists in the area that my insurance would cover. And I found Dr. Kim. His office is simple and professional, not elaborate and ornate. The scheduling process was efficient and they used technology to remind me of my appointment. The xrays and cleaning went very smooth, Dr Kim did my cleaning - I like that. He explained very clearly that two of my fillings (very old ones) needed to be replaced; and, he showed with pictures that other ones were still fine. No pressure, just simple information for me to make a decision. When I returned in a week for those fillings, the process was again very efficient and professional. Dr Kim and his assistant worked together as a team during the process making it go very smoothly. My entire family will be having Dr Kim take care of all of our dental needs in the future!

I hadnt had a cleaning in 18 months and I was a little hesitant to go see a dentist. I didnt want the doctor to tell me that I had cavities or that I needed to brush better or some other scolding, so I kept putting it off. Then, in December 2012, My friend, who is a patient of Dr. Kim, referred me to him, so I went in for a cleaning. It was a great experience. Not just because I had no cavities (yay me!), but also because Dr. Kim was so gentle and caring. It was an experience like no other. NOTE: (1) The office is a little small, which I think is a good thing. These days, there are too many huge offices with a corporate feel (some dental offices feel like Costco). Dr. Kims office is cozy with a personal feel. (2) Jennifer took the x-rays. She was funny and friendly, and she kept me at ease.

Great customer service at Alta Loma Dental Care! Everyone I came in contact with was very friendly and professional. Considering it was my first visit, check-in was quick and easy. I didn’t spend any time waiting in the lobby which is typical everywhere else. (Other dental offices usually have me waiting in the lobby for about 30 minutes before they bring me in.) But here, I really felt like they valued my time. They explained everything each step of the way. I tend to have anxiety when visiting the dentist but felt very comfortable throughout my visit. Dr. Kim was so friendly and gentle. He also made a point to answer all of my convens. I definitely recommend Dr. Kim and his staff!

This place is clean and the staff is professional. My biggest problem is they over charge you. I have great insurance and Alta Loma still tried to charge me over $600. out of pocket for a deep cleaning. I called another dental office that is of the same quality and they chose to just charge the insurance company, which pays over $600. I paid nothing. They also redid some x-rays without charging me. So if your going to get work done Id suggest shopping around and comparing prices. You might just get your work done for free if you have insurance.

I moved to the area a few years ago, and until now, havent been able to find a dental office that I was satisfied with. Im very happy that I found this office, as the dentist and hygienist do a great job, and the office staff is professional and friendly. Glad to recommend this office to anyone looking for a great dentist!

I love My dental Hygienist Cassandra... I love Dr. Kim. Everyone is the office is wonderful from the moment you walk in, to the services provided, I always feel very warm and welcomed. I drive all the way from redlands ca so thats got to tell you something :D

This place was good before, but it went down hill. Their staff changed and all are now confused. No appointments are kept, they do not follow up, the work is substandard which is prompting corrective work repeatedly. I would recommend avoiding this place.

I have been a patient of both Todd and Natalie Cochran for a few years now and they are terrific dentists. I had a broken tooth in the front and Natalie repaired it and when I looked at it I thought she was an artist. Thank you
