Dr. Alex is great! I am MD and he has made me understand chiropractic in terms of it medical importance, holistic approach and its simplicities that are too many to list. If you take the time to listen to him you will be rewarded. I have been seeing Dr. Alex for the last 7 years. He explains everything to me and answers all my questions and really has opened up Maintenance Care to me. When we are young we just dont think this is important but as you pass 35 it becomes more apparent from working out to what we eat. "We only have one body and you should take care of it" Is what he says to me from time to time. It is so simple but so true. They get me in and out in less than 10 minutes. I mean it takes me longer to get a cup of coffee. So if you can get a cup coffee which WE all do you can get adjusted and be in out of the office. The front desk staff is efficient as Dr. Alex and they will look up insurance for you before you even set into the office. Joe and Vicky stretch me out for 10 minutes which comes with each treatment so make another 10 minutes for that, it is worth it! The office has three great massage therapist, acupuncturist who is also an MD and a chiropractor. This is one of the most well rounded offices I have experienced. For you busy bees the office is open to 7 days a week for massage and until 7 pm for chiro M thru F and as late as 8 pm for massage. This is the latest open office in San Francisco!! Trust me I have looked! So why are these other offices closed by 3 pm or even 1 pm by Friday and these guys open until 7 pm? They are only open if people come in that is why and people flock to this office.

I have been going to chiropractors since the late 1980s. My philosophy was when I feel pain, then Ill get treated. What happened every few months to a couple times a year was very drastic pain with intense muscle spasms. When I was hurt, it was time to take care of myself. Thats how I found myself at CCC, barely able to move my neck or even make it through a day of work.I also have had re-occurring issues with my mid and low back due to a motorcycle accident. When I was in treatment for the neck pain, Dr Alex would always say, you should continue with maintenance once you are better, and youll find you have better all-around mobility and heath. My first thought, of course, was that it was another chiropractor looking for regular income. I thought that I know my body, and I know when I need help. The difference this time was that I finally reached a point where it was worth the money to invest if seeing that this could be true. Could I live without intense pain that lasted weeks at a time? After a year of going once a month, what I have noticed is better health. I still get back pain, and sometimes spasms, but the symptoms are tolerable and generally feel better in a couple days vs weeks. I finally got to the point where my back is strong enough to do some of the things that I had written off, like skiing and surfing. Take it from me, Ive been there. Ive listened to all the introductory speeches that make you feel like you are being sold snake oil. If you want to feel better, Dr Alex can get you there. Do it at your own pace, but if you have chronic issues dont stop.

Ive been treated by Dr. Alex for well over a year now. I came in whimpering and near tears from throwing my back out for the thousandth time (it seems). Id been referred by a friend. So glad for it, because this has been the best chiropractor ever. And Ive been to quite a few, as I have multiple chronic issues with my spine, which in the past year have gotten considerably better! Part of that has been sticking to a regular maintenance program of adjustments once (or twice if needed) a month. Dr. Alex remembers you, where you last left off with treatment, and can make small adjustments and tweaks (both to your back and the treatment plan!) with no trouble. He listens carefully, and hes very open about the hows and whys of what he is doing in treatment, which I like and appreciate. Cute, small office very convenient to public transportation. Dora at the front desk is awesome - sweet and smart and efficient. Very grateful to be in good care. Grateful that I have good insurance, that also allows some massage as part of treatment. The office has a great massage therapist, Joe, that works with them. Ive referred at least a couple people to Dr. Alex without hesitation, and I will continue to do so.

One day in October I suddenly had a severe back pain and could not even bend my back. I found Dr. Alex on Yelp and called him after seeing those good reviews. Dora, his assistant, made an appointment for me right away. Just after three treatments I felt more than 70% better. Dr. Alex is not the first chiropractor I saw and I can say he is very good and his technique works. He is very patient and spent almost an hour explaining to me the treatment plan and how the human body works and what cause the pain on my back during my first visit. Now my lower back is fully recovered but I still go to see him on a regularly basis because I sit in front of my computer at work a lot and my neck/shoulder/upper back get very stiff. Another thing - Dr. Alexs staff would work with you on your insurance issue. I started a new job recently and the insurance enrollment took a while but I need to see him right away. Dr. Alex charged me the regular fee and then refund me all the payment minus the copay immediately after my insurance enrollment is registered in the system. All thumps up for Dr. Alex and highly recommend him.

I was sent to CCC by my SF workers comp attorney for a second opinion pertaining to my case. The QME kept ruling in favor of the insurance company based on test results that were examining the wrong source of my pain. But because of Dr. Alexs expertise and experience, he was able to find the problem was in my lower back, not in the thigh. So QME was forced to reconsider his previous decision and recommend further treatment. THANKS DR ALEX FOR SAVING MY LIFE!!! Ive been in serious pain for over 3 years with no relief in sight. Now I at least have some hope. Dr. Alex and his staff were very friendly & helpful too. I needed to have x-rays taken at medical center which was nearby at AT&T PARK, Since I was not too familar with area, Dr. Alex walked out with me and pointed me in the right direction, so I wouldnt get lost. I only wish my attorney recommended CCC from the start. Ive lost over 3 years of my life because of all the pain & discomfort Ive been in. Too bad I live in NJ or else I would of demanded Dr. Alex to handle the treatment also.
