I have been a patient of this center for 7 years now and to me, Dr. Fretty is a hero- he has saved me from years of pain and a possible pain medication addiction! I have suffered of major back pains for years, then, I found out that I have 4 herniated disks and my primary Doctor worked with me in different treatments, all involving pain killers and anti-inflammatory drugs. I become concerned that the pain killers were not as effective and I could develop some addiction to them. I was being prescribed 100 pills per month! Even though I know my doctor was trying to help me, I became scared after hearing peoples stories on becoming addicted on prescription medications! Then, I decided to deal with the pain and quit the meds. Continued my regular workout routine hoping that eventually I would learn to live with it! It worked for a while, but when work and life became stressful, besides the back pain, I started suffering from almost paralyzing migraine headaches! I had to find a way to relief. Friends and family could see the suffering and would suggest massages- I hate massages! I never felt comfortable having strangers touching me to make me relax! I skip the hand and foot massages at the nail salons! Then, someone suggested Dr. Fretty. I was tired of feeling the pains and figure I would try this chiropractor. Dr. Fretty was amazingly professional from the first minute we met; he truly listened to my concerns; asked me questions and actually, listen to my answers! I bluntly told him how uncomfortable I felt about people touching me in the attempt to relax me! Pretty crazy thing to say to a doctor who is a chiropractor! But, Dr. Fretty didnt make me feel weird about it; he explained to me how he was going to help me and if I ever felt uncomfortable, to just let him know. That first session changed my whole attitude about the treatment- for the first time in months, I felt my body relax and my headache dissipate! After 6 sessions and the first adjustment, my pain diminished and the migraines were gone; Dr. Fretty treatment plan was for 12 sessions and he was always concerned that I made my appointments- he personally would call me to remind me of my appointment; if I tried to cancel or change because I was stuck at work with a project or a client, he would tell me to come in at any time and he would take me in. Dr. Fretty really cares and at times, I feel he is more concerned about my health than I am! I have seen his interaction with other patients, he genuinely cares for all of them! His office staff has always been friendly and makes me feel welcomed! I never have to wait, Even when he has patients in the other rooms, Dr. Fretty sets up the treatment ( cold or hot applications) and comes back to give each one the necessary adjustments. I have never been left in a cold room waiting for a nurse or doctor to come to see me as it is common to happen at any doctors office! Dr. Fretty is very attentive to his patients; extremely professional and amazingly knowledgeable- he knows where your pain is coming from and how to fix it! He is a doctor that actually cares for his patients and listens to them! As a plus, he is a great doctor with "magic hands"! I will always rely on Dr. Frettys care because it works and I highly recommend this clinic and this amazing Doctor! Not to mention his magic hands!

Dr. Fretty is amazing! I threw out my back and took a chance on him as a new patient. Ive thrown out my back before but this was the worst. I was in a lot of pain, could barely move and looked like a hunchback that got stuck while trying to be a contortionist. My boyfriend took me to his office, he wanted to take xrays. My back spasmed and I collapsed during the xrays, which gave everyone a fright. He brought me a cold pack and a pillow and let me lay on the floor for a while until I could move again. Once I could stand, he gave me an umbrella to lean against so I wouldnt collapse again during our 2nd attempt at the xrays. He then took me to a table and realigned me. I obviously wasnt completely fixed but in that initial session, he made it so I was in a lot less pain and could actually stand up semi straight. It was incredible. Now, less than a week later, I feel almost 100% again. I thought I wouldnt feel better for another month. The staff there is so nice and really care about their patients. I could never thank them enough. I would definitely recommend anyone to go to Dr. Fretty!

I HIGHLY RECOMEND Dr. M. Keith Fretty at Ocean Chiropractic Center!!! He has put me back together more than once and I am eternally grateful to him for helping me! I can sleep through the night know, which is AMAZING! (I love sleep!) I hardly ever get sick! When I get a headache I go see him for an adjustment, because I know a pill is only going to mask the pain. When I hurt myself from day to day stuff or if I get in a car accident he is my go to Doctor! If you are looking for someone who listens to you, who cares about you, and who gives you results Dr. M. Keith Fretty at Ocean Chiropractic Center is the man for the job! When I have kids Dr. Fretty will be the #1 Doctor I take my kids to for everything! Thank you Dr. Fretty for taking such excellent care of me over the years! You truly are the most wonderful Chiropractor!

Dr. Fretty is an amazing chiropractor! I have been going to him for years. I went to him after having a bad (and expensive) single visit in the mission for a lower back accident. Not only is he an amazing and effective chiropractor, he and his office are kind, funny, and all around amazing people that have come to feel like family. Come to an awesome chiropractor that will make it affordable, make you feel better by treating your issues, and put a smile on your face when you come in. Think you cant afford it? Come here, he will make chiropractic attainable for you!

Ive been adjusted my whole life since my dad is a chiropractor, so I know what a good adjustment feels like. I just recently moved to the area and found this office nearby me online. I came in and the lady at the front was very nice to me and seemed really sweet. I had not been adjusted for a couple months since moving away from home for school, immediately after the adjusted my whole body felt loser as it did when my dad would give me adjustments. If you are looking for a chiropractor in this area I would give Dr. Fretty a shot.

Dr. Fretty is amazing. I have chronic hip problems from horseback riding and hes been able to get me back on my feet in no time. Im usually in and out of the office in 15 minutes tops. Hes really knowledgable and cares a lot about his patients health. Hes very accomodating with your schedule and gives excellent advice.
