#1 the whole waiting area is very clean and smells of a nice lavender. I know accidents happen everywhere and it takes time to clean up after the animal patients come in. But it was refreshing introduction at Peninsula Pet Clinic. #2 if you are looking for a place that has equal pay and promotions for women, this is the place! I never was a customer for my pets until this past Sunday. Three different times in the past I had brought a lost dog or cat to scan the microchip if there was one. And the staff was so compassionate and Humane all those times. But I thought this place was out of my price range. Recently I had a medical emergency for my dog and they took me in as a walk in Sunday morning. They didnt ask how am I going to pay. They didnt ask does your dog have fleas. They didnt ask any minutiae. They focused on my dog and everything else can wait. How refreshing! When so many other places promote and advertise to get you to pay for more services. Before they even look at your animal! Also they shared a lot of helpful information of pet charities and services that help keep the cost down. $36 for both antibiotic and pain meds! $25 for exam. And how refreshing that theyre up-to-date and using modern technology and pharmaceuticals. I read all the articles in Dogster and Catster magazines and apparently everyone here does too! :-) Im so grateful that I live close by and found a wonderful vet clinic for my pets.

Theyre always super sweet with my kitten here and very informative and helpful. They are a little pricey compared to low-cost clinics like SNPLA, but they also 100% friendlier and caring. With the price difference of about $6 for the shots, it is totally worth the care you get (and a lot of the times the low cost clinics run out of the shots or tests you may need). The only other critique is you have to wait quite a bit sometimes (though ive noticed this at a lot of vets so im not sure if it just comes with the territory) just dont come when youre in a rush to be somewhere! Friendly staff, welcoming waiting rooms and exam rooms, and gentle care will have my kitten and i coming back.

I have so much love and respect for these people. Being in the military we move so much to find a vet that had the compassion they do was relieving. When we lost a pet they were so kind and comforting. Weve been with them nearly 10 years now. After retirement we settled nearby and will travel for their services

They went out of there way to save my cat who was attacked by a dog .they saved my cats kitten when she couldnt take care of it by placing it with a dog who just had a litter and it was the most amazing thing I witnessed. They love animals an individual will work with you to help you with your pets
