Today 7-6-2015 I am so overwhelm with joy when I found this hospital, the wait was 10 minutes top to be seen for the first time. When I came in with my 8 week old cat my 16 yr old daughter crying and the cat having seizures uncontrollably it was heart wrenching to see the kitten suffer. I had previously went to another animal care place that try to charge me $100 higher than Alameda hospital and a extra charge for medication which I could not afford. Thank GOD for Alameda Animal hospital Dr. Thomas L. Gibson save my kitten life. After the exam he knew exactly what was wrong. The cost was very affordable, the lobby clean, the environment friendly and inviting. I will be going back for more follow ups for my pet and would recommend you to do the same if you have pets. My kitten name is Bunnie a.k.a Sea Buscuit she is recovering well, what a scare....

For the last 20years, I have taken all my dogs here. I gotta admit, the lady at the front desk is rude... but I have always loved Dr Gibson. He answers all my questions & gives me choices in my pets care. He tells me about each of the meds my dogs are receiving and doesnt push unnecessary treatments. I have had to put down 2 dogs with him, and both times they were supportive and respectful, allowing me to stay w them till the end. I commute from Lakewood, even though VCA is down the street from me... because I think its worth the drive.

I saw a couple of stray dogs near by, a mom and pup maybe(the pup was limping) I wanted to try and get them so I could take them to a vet and hopefully find a home for them, but they were pretty skidish and i was having trouble trying to get them. I saw Alameda Animal Hospital and thought they would help me. When I asked the employee, to my dismay, responded with "We dont do anything about stray dogs here at Alameda." I was very disapointed with there lack of compassion

ok this place sucks me and mom rush one of my cat to place this lady talking give her $200.00 dollars which i pay for a depoist and now she ok so now she talking about 115.39 something and sent we didnt pick her up she wants 128.39 cent that so stuipid she thinks everbody are richs that place is not a good deal at all

I brought my Chihuahua in an emergency with her right eye popped out and needed urgent care the Dr. had a full house and attended my dog right away and managed to re insert the eye back. The surgery was not overpriced. Wont post any photos to graphic but shes recovered and is ok.

Horrible hospital - wouldnt give a copy of vaccine history to our boarding facility unless they squeezed out another 5$ - Wow !! May as well go to the clinics outside of pet stores - they are definitely more helpful and less expensive.

I have been going to Dr. Gibson for at least 30 years. You will not find a better animal doctor, he cares so much for the pets. I feel so fortunate to have my pets see him. I have moved out of the area, and still go him.

My mom use to bring our dog Maylee here before she past away. She always loved how knowledgeable Dr. Gibson was. I am now bronging my two children here (dog and cat). It is kind of pricey but the service is great.
