Dr. Langrock, her clinic, and her staff are superb. We (myself, my boyfriend, and my 2 dogs) are always treated kindly, respectfully and honestly during visits. Her front desk staff is awesome: they consistently remember us and our dogs by name when we call or walk in--a VERY nice, personal touch! Dr. Langrock is also consistently upfront and clear about her services and pricing: she always offers us an itemized list BEFORE supplemental services are rendered so we never feel like there are sneaky cost surprises in there (and she is extremely empathetic in regard to knowing most of us pet owners arent made of money...she never makes me feel like a bad "doggie parent" when I ask "can fill in the blank wait until our next visit?"). I also appreciate Dr. Langrocks "Smart Scheduling" approach to appointments. I have never had to wait to be seen by her and/or her clinics tech staff. Actually, I had to wait ONCE... someone brought in a dog that got hit by a car: Dr. Langrock and her crew all quickly left to offer immediate emergency care for the animal...in this case I was so super glad to wait... if that had been my pet, I would want to know that my vet would literally drop everything to try and save my furry kid! I trust her care, knowledge, services, staff and clinic explicitly: I would not take my pets anywhere else!

Awful experience. I understand that taking care of animal and bringing them to the vet can be expensive, but with the money that was spent I should have received some answers on what was wrong with my dog. They sent my dog home for the weekend with him struggling to breathe and told me to bring him to the emergency if there was a problem. To top it off, I brought him back a week later after finding him at home unresponsive. They wouldnt help when I requested assistance in getting my 50 pound dog out of the car. After getting the dog out of the car myself, they had me sign all kinds of paperwork before they would even look at him knowing he was unresponsive. Sadly, my dog passed away 5 minutes after arriving at the vet. I was told I would have time to say goodbye, but was rushed and was made to leave out of the back door. This place was "kind" enough to wave the emergency fee, but was still left with over $100 bill with no work being done to the dog. This vet was indifferent towards my dying dog and was more concerned about the fees they were looking to charge us. Dont get me wrong, spending the money wasnt the issue and I would have spent it all over again but I still have no answers on what was making my dog sick.

Dr. Langrock and her staff are amazing! My dog was very nervous coming in and is also dog aggressive. The staff accommodated that and made us feel welcome, which is not always the case with an aggressive bully breed. Not only did Dr. Langrock do a very thorough exam, she explained everything to me and suggested some simple things I could do for my pet that I wasnt even aware of. I felt like she genuinely cared when she was treating my dog and the staff as well. Even though she was nervous (and peed all over the hospital) the staff never once made me feel bad about it and did everything they could to make my dog feel comfortable. Eventually she even took a liking to the head tech! I am very happy with the service I received here, and the follow up! I will definitely be bringing all of my pets to see Dr. Langrock and her team of amazing vet techs :)

Our Tessie Dawg is the most loved member of our household; so we were relieved and delighted to come across Dr. Sheila Langrock and Yosemite Pet Hosp. Her caring and thorough manner is extraordinary; she truly has the health and welfare of her patients (as well as their owners) at heart, a critical component sorely lacking w/many doctors...whether their specialty is animal or human. Animals are not able to tell us what is wrong. So, an advocate who is genuinely dedicated to making the right diagnosis and treating accordingly -like Dr. Langrock- is essential and a rare, wonderful find. Dr. Langrock"s team is equally professional, personable and helpful. The knowledge, courtesy and compassion demonstrated by all at Yosemite Pet Hospital are more than we ever thought we would find. And we highly recommend.

I know when I bring my dogs to Yosemite Pet Hospital that they are getting the best care available. Sheila is amazingly comprehensive and pays attention to every little detail. She takes notes, answers every question I have, explains whats going on very clearly, and never seems rushed to get out the door. I get sticker shock from time to time, but now that I know her, I know that she is just recommending the best possible treatment for my dogs. She offers me the best, and from there I can trim the expense based on what I can afford to pay without judgement from her. She gives me the power and knowledge to make an informed decision. If you want your furry children to be treated with the same level of care that you would want for yourself, this is the place to come.

All of our dogs have been under the care of Sheila Langrock and her staff since we moved back to Simi Valley eight years ago. Sheila is a very knowledgeable and caring Veterinarian. She takes a personal interest in the pets under her care. Recently, one of our dogs was seriously ill. Sheila and her staff began tests late in the afternoon. To enable her and her staff to have the results from one of the tests by the next morning, both Sheila and one of her technicians stayed with our dog well past the time the office normally closed for the day so that they could complete all of the tests and forward the samples to the laboratory. We are completely comfortable entrusting the care of our dogs to Sheila Langrock and the entire staff at Yosemite Pet Hospital.

This is our FAVORITE and only place we will bring our dogs! The staff know myself and my girlfriend by name when we call. Dr Langrock is extremely efficient and knowledgable. She always give you the cheaper option BEFORE they do any work, she will also tell you if she thinks you can wait on certain tests or shots too. We had an incident with one of our dogs, they suddenly developed HGE, which can kill your pet within 48 hours. The Dr got us in first thing the same day, and she saved my dogs life. Her care for the animal 100% shows! She is the best and the staff is great and always smiling! We have been using this vet since 2013 and will only ever switch once we move out of state.

I cannot believe that the negative ratings on this page are for the same vet! After being to several different vets and coming to terms with the in-and-out fast (yet still pricey) practice of nearly all vet offices, I was pleasantly surprised by the thoroughness and caring nature of Dr. Langrock. She spent a great deal of time with my pet, gave great explanations and information, and answered many many questions. I am confident in entrusting my furry little buddy in her care. No wonder I drive nearly 30 miles each way just to do so!
