After several fairly traumatic experiences trying to find a good dentist in the South Bay, a friend recommended me to Dr. Burhenne. We cant say enough good about him! He goes above and beyond to make sure his patients are well informed, comfortable, cared for, and pain free. My kids have always liked going to the dentist...From the time they were toddlers he invited me to bring them to my own appointments so they could sit on my lap and watch what he was doing. They really looked forward to their own turn at the dentist! Dr. Burhenne does not just view his patients as another mouth. He has a hollistic view of health and how it relates to the mouth and your well-being and happiness. Because of the couple bad experiences I had years ago with other dentists, I have a bit of anxiety each time I get a filling. Dr. Burhenne has the sweetest, softest, therapy dog, Remy, that will happily sit on your lap if you wish while getting a procedure done.

I dont live in the immediate area where Dr. Burhennes office is, however, Im willing to drive a distance to him because hes the best dentist Ive had. Now that I have older, receding gums, I trust Dr. B and his staff to keep my teeth in good health. I read his book, "The Eight Hour Sleep Paradox" and explored my own sleep apnea. After a bad experience with a CPAP machine, Dr. B. made a dental appliance for me and Ive had great sleep ever since. You are not only getting a good dentist, you are getting someone who is passionate about his work and an expert in oral health.

Dr B is the most caring healthcare provider Ive ever seen. He cares about not only your oral health, but also your overall well-being. Through paying attention to dental details, he could identify other health related issues I didnt know before. Hes also very knowledgeable and will patiently answer any questions.
