Billing accountability is horrible. I had a surgery there almost a year ago and I am getting additional miscellaneous bills with no specific services itemized on the bills from a company called NPAS that does their collections. When I call NPAS, they are unable to provide documentation on past payments and they are rude and demanding. I requested an audit of my account and never heard back from them, they just sent another bill and when I called they said, yes we reviewed the account and you still owe (no documentation or proof provided at all). They are rude and demand payment. When I call the Thousand Oaks Surgical Hospital, they transfer me to an answering machine and no one calls me back. I have called three times. This is my last resort. I have a brilliant doctor but will never have procedures done at this facility again as they are not accountable for any billing and can easily ruin your credit.

If ya gotta have surgery this is THE place to go. The physical facility is impressive, all private rooms, with nursing station in room so they can order up meds without leaving your side. Quiet, clean, looks like a well kept Holiday Inn from the hall ways. But the real killer is the staff. I cannot say too much with too many superlatives about how cheerful, intelligent, and caring they are, You come to feel as if the whole staff is there just to insure you are comfortable and well taken care of. I wonder if they get bonuses for responding to your "nurse" call in under 30 seconds. In particular, shout outs to RNs, Crisi, and Danna. Tech nurse Megan you are the best, got we walking again, no fuss no muss.

While I was not a patient here my friend was. Now Ive done my share of time as a patient on many a hospital. I recently visited my friend here a few times and was shocked. He had a room thats better then my own bedroom. The meals there were incredible. Ive never seen hospital food like this in my life. If you have to do time in a hospital, and you got the money. This is the place to be.

Hip Replacement. If you have to have it done...I can not think of a place Id rather be. The Staff was AMAZING. PTs Mary and Tim are rock stars. The Nurses Marianna, Meagan, Kelly and Roxie..... you are the reason I was sorry to leave. God Bless and Thanks. BW
