If I could give this office a ZERO I would. First let me explain - I went to this doctor as a referral. I have a trans vaginal mesh implant that is cutting me inside - is eroding. I am IN EXTREME PAIN. So I go to the ER - they refer me to another clinic - I go to that clinic - and they refer me to Dr. Halls office. Now... Im on Medi-Cal - and was supposed to be on Gold Coast - on the first of February - they were told that directly on the phone. Hall is supposedly the only person in town that has dealt with the type of mesh implant that I have. My lesbian partner and I go to the office and I fill out information. I had told them I was on medi-cal - and was getting Gold Coast on the First - they gave me an appointment for Friday which was 5 days away. I waited and stayed completely medicated because I feel like Im getting sawed in half and Im terrified of losing my bladder and other organs (THIS CAN BE A LIFE THREATENING SITUATION) - so I go there - fill out all their information - and they say they cannot take Medi-Cal - and need my Gold Coast Card - although - they already knew I did not have it. So they tell me I will have to pay this astronomical fee in CASH - EXCUSE ME??? Why the hell do you think I got medi-cal? Really? I cant work right now - Im in severe pain. So I go through the run around with medi-cal and Gold Coast and after several hours I get my gold coast id number. I call them back - and tell them the number the receptionist is really rude - and tells me that they need the Gold Coast Card - I tell her they can verify it - and that they can call them - they said they have NO VERIFICATION system and they dont normally take that kind of thing. I say fine - I should have the card by monday (according to Gold Coast I should have it) Anyhow - I ask her to please get me an appointment as soon as possible - and she says - we dont have anything until March now. EXCUSE ME????!!! March? Im getting cut open by an internal mesh implant and shes the only person Ive been referred to that can do the mesh removal surgeries... I tell the receptionist to "F" off - because thats BS - and its probably because were a Gay couple... Or they think Medi-cal is for "POOR PEOPLE" who dont deserve medical care... Either way - this is the worst treatment Ive ever seen by a doctors office and I wouldnt suggest their services. Ill find someone to deal with my medical stuff - because there are major lawsuits and a class action lawsuit for this TVT gynecare mesh implant... But if I lose anything (my bladder, my sexual feeling - or if it is cutting any organs internally) I will always feel that it is this doctor that allowed that to happen. Arent Doctors supposed to heal people? Not send them away based on their own issues... I get money being needed - but when it comes to a life - or organs or emergencies - dont you think they should go that extra mile for someone? Ive paid my bills - I have worked hard all my life - and at this very moment I cannot. Im not some scum bag. I should have never been treated this way.

These doctors schedule no time to go over any detailed question you may have. They pack there day with as many patients as they can fit into 5 minute time blocks to make the most money possible while providing poor care for patients. Moreover, they fail to properly review lab results and images that they order. When I was sent to get an ultrasound, the person running the ultrasound scan said he was not allowed to share any info with me so I brough in the DVD on my computer to ask a few minor questions to the Doctors at this office during my scheduled visit. It was clear the doc. had not reviewed the images him self as legally and medically required yet he also told me he didnt have time to look over the DVD I brought in. Very poor. Furthermore they do not reply to phone calls in a timely manner either.

I could not be happier with the care I have received from Ventura County OB/GYN Group. Dr. G, Dr. Coyle & Wendy are so caring, friendly, and allow you to have a say in your pregnancy. Ive never felt pressured to do something I wasnt comfortable with...(i.e. inducing, drugs...etc) If we have another baby, this is the office I will go to!!!
