As an employee of this facility, I have searched our database for a client whose visit here fits the description that this gentleman posted. I have yet to find such a client. I highly doubt that this gentleman is a client at our hospital for the following reasons: - It is hospital policy that ALL new clients that arrive for surgery are discharged by their surgeon. No exceptions are made to this, unless the client opts out of it. - He claims that his bill was over $1000. We rarely do surgeries that cost over $1000. Such a procedure would mean it was truly invasive, and thus blood work, if not an overnight hospitalization, would be required. Pre-anesthetic blood work is mandatory on major procedures, as well as on patients over the age of 6. For any patient younger than 6, blood work is always suggested, but we leave it up to the client to make their decision. It seems as though he would prefer that we make blood work a requirement for all patients; but then again, he is also complaining about the cost of the bill. Something doesn’t pan out in this situation. Our patients and clients are given the utmost attention and care. All patients that come to our hospital for surgery are greeted by our doctors either prior to surgery, or upon discharge. Further more, our hospital does not have “interns” and never has. We pride ourselves on providing the best patient care in town. We love what we do, and our clients appreciate us for our dedication both to them, and their four-legged family member.

1st Visit --- Took my Dog Sumo here for a second opinion without an appointment. Staff was very friendly. They squeezed my dog in for a visit. Doctor was extremely thorough and pretty much said they same thing as my previous doctor. The thing I liked most was he explained everything without me asking. Coming from a family of mostly doctors I feel that he was very knowlegdable, professional and caring. The techs did a good job as well; as far as getting info, etc. Dont really know too much about the pricing because it was only the first visit, but I have three dogs and I will be returning. As far as this rating system, I wouldnt say I loved it; who loves taking their dog to the vet, but the service I received was excellent.

The Doctors Pyne are absolutely at the top of their profession. Not only are they caring and skilled, theyre the most amazing diagnosticians around. House has nothing on them. Our three dogs, Shaka, Teddi and KC are thriving because of them. A former veterinarian misdiagnosed Shaka and her heart condition had gone undiagnosed. She had been put on a plethora of medications that were wrong and that were slowly killing her. Dr. Pyne took one look at her labs (which we brought from the other vet) and took her off most of her meds and shes a changed dog. Hes also done surgery on our 120 lb Newfie mix Teddi and he came through with flying colors. We wouldnt trust our pets to any other practice!

When I brought my kitten home from abroad and he needed everything done (shots, desexing, microchip, etc) we started looking for a new veterinary clinic to go to. The one that we had been to with most of our pets had expanded to a point where it was too large and impersonal. A family friend recommended this hospital, so we tried it out. This is everything we wanted from a vet hospital. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the veterinarians are experienced and flexible, and the building is always clean and orderly. This is easily the best vet hospital in Yorba Linda and I wouldnt think of taking my pets anywhere else.

My dog was sick and needed surgery, the vet that normally took care of her wanted to leave her alone at night with an iv running in a cage by herself, I could not do it, but then my friend said she always trusted Dr. Glen Pine and I went and he relieved the entire weight off my shoulders, he said no reason she cant go home and she should not have iv fluid with her heart condition she did so well, she was not even afraid of him on follow up, they are all so genuinely nice and gentle, my dog is not afraid to go to the vet. He is now her lifetime vet, so grateful we found him, Thank you T for recommending him to us...xoxoxo

Weve used Paws n Claws for our pets for about a decade. Originally things were pretty good, but they have changed -- and not for the better. They sell pet medications -- and they arent cheap. When I initially complained about this a few years ago, they agreed to price match prices from internet providers. They have now changed policy to only price match against two internet providers -- and they are the most expensive providers out there. This rating would have been higher if their practice hadnt decided that they need to make everything about the almighty dollar. Very sad!

Dr. Pyne did a great job with surgery on my cats fractured femur. The first veterinarian I took her to recommended a procedure to put a screw into the bone, but Dr. Pyne suggested to just remove the fractured piece all together. I was charged several hundreds of dollars less than the first vet quoted and now, after a month, my cat is running around and being crazy again with no limping. I really appreciate his work.

Very friendly staff, and Dr. Windt is very helpful and nice. Also, blood tests are much cheaper than any of the other vets Ive been to, and they do some testing in-house, so you get results quicker... I usually just wait around until its ready. Place is always kept pretty clean, its never too busy, and there is a patch of fake grass out front, for the dogs.

I have loved every experience Ive had with both doctors. They really seem to know what is going on with my pets and dont rip me off for some BS diagnosis. These people really know what theyre doing and they will not lead you astray. Every single employee here is passionate and compassionate about what they do!
