This practice has you pay up front, and then charges insurance. Twice now my family has encountered them keeping credit balances, and this last time they actually wrote off the insurance over payment using the account "insurance write off". This account is for when the insurance company has a lower allowable charge for the service and should never see an addition to it. The software they use does not allow this transaction without a confirmation asking if they are sure they want to do this (they use Dentrix and I investigated this). I am reporting them to every agency that will listen - and if you go there - or to Rocky Mountain Dental Group - double check what they make you pay up front and what insurance pays - It has been a week since I discovered this happened last year and I waited to make sure I felt it right to post this review. I do - this is wrong and not a mistake easily made. Diane, the accounting person, told me that accounts are in lock down so mistakes are not made - then how did it happen that they kept nearly $40 in over payment as an insurance write off? They had us pay in May, then insurance paid in early July and then at the end of July they wrote off the over payment, Then the kept telling me they were sorry I was upset - would you be upset if they charged you ahead of time for your portion of the work and then kept the overage?

During my first visit, I had the pleasure of getting my teeth cleaned by Shannon. Yes, I said "pleasure." Thats usually not a word one would associate with a dental visit; however, Shannon was awesome! Very thorough, but gentle, friendly and informative. Dr. Ricks did an exam and was also great! He found a couple of things that my previous dentist was "watching" and he suggested taking care of it sooner rather than later and developing more problems. I could actually see real pictures up on the screen of every one of my teeth! I returned a few days later for a crown and fillings and had an excellent experience with Dr. Elevich and Carrie. Both very competent, patient, understanding and friendly. It was my first time getting a crown on the same day! Whoo-hoo! No temporary crown to have to deal with. Dr. Elevich even called me at the end of the day to make sure I was feeling okay and just to check on me. Very impressive! I highly recommend the doctors and staff at Aspen Springs Dental. Everyone is awesome, starting at the front desk!

Today was my first visit to Dr. Blatters office and I couldnt have been more impressed with the whole experience. Once I arrived I was immediately greeted by a warm and welcoming receptionist that helped get me checked in. I had barely completed my new patient paperwork and turned it back in to the reception desk and was welcomed in to start my cleaning by my hygienist, Vickie. I spent absolutely no time waiting in the waiting room! Vickie did an awesome job with my cleaning followed by a friendly introduction and very thorough recap of how my teeth looked and possible long term dental treatments to consider by Dr. Blatter. The Dr was super friendly, asked great questions, and was very patient and attentive during the course of our conversations. Overall it was a great experience coming from someone that absolutely dreads going to the dentist. Everyone at the office made it a very relaxed and comfortable visit from beginning to end. I will be recommending this office to all of our friends and family.

Wow, 5 stars well deserved! Being that this review deals with your health, I take what I have to say seriously. I cannot recommend Dr. Blatter and his team enough! I went to see them a few months ago, not having gone to the dentist in years. I was very skeptical having had a bad experience with a greedy dentist previously. After my cleaning, I met Dr. Blatter. He listened to all of the notes the hygienist took, analyzed what my priorities were, and then gave me a very detailed and caring explanation of what his office represented. Two appointments later, I have had 8 cavities and a crown taken care of! I would have never let any other dentist do this, let alone even trust them to begin with. Dr. Blatter has created a business that revolved around healthCARE. He puts his patients needs first, translating throughout every step I experienced as a new patient. I HIGHLY recommend this office for any of your dental needs.

The staff here is always very friendly and welcoming. Landon Blatter is a very intelligent dentist that I feel genuinely cares about the well being of his clients. Ive made the mistake of avoiding dental work such as repair work and even routine cleanings for a good 20 years. I first visited him thinking I would have to get a tooth extracted that had an infected nerve. He fixed my tooth, and has done more work over the past year to fill multiple cavities. Just recently he has completed his work by extracting all four of my wisdom teeth. I am now confident that with the proper care and attention, I will have a healthy smile for the rest of my life. I cannot possibly express enough gratitude for his work. I would highly recommend him to anybody - especially anyone who has had negative experiences with prior dentists like myself.

Our three year old daughter was born with an enamel deficiency on her four top front teeth. At first we were concerned with the cosmetic side. At her happy visit we realized there was quite a bit of decay as well. We scheduled her to get her teeth fixed! We met with Dr. Blatter and her reassured us that he will take it easy and make it as comfortable as possible. There was no need for numbing so he went straight to drilling. He fixed two teeth at that visit. My daughter never flinched. However towards the end she touched his hand which was just enough for him to say she has had enough. We scheduled another visit and my daughter was thrilled to go back. Her teeth look GREAT!!!! I dont have to worry about her teeth rotting or kids teasing her. Everyone was patient and helpful. We will never use a different dentist. They are the best!

I have been a patient for the last 15 years with Dr Blatter. He is a great Dentist and everyone at Aspen Springs Dental is very good. I have always had a great experience there and have been treated great. They really think about the patient for comfort and are efficient with their appointments so your time is not wasted. Dr Blatter does very quality work, he has done a few crowns for me and they both turned out perfect. He really made sure they fit perfect before I left and they have never given me any trouble. I would recommend Aspen springs Dental to anyone but especially to anyone that is uncomfortable going to the dentist or has any major dental issues that need special treatment. I have seen first hand how they handle special cases or nervous patients and you wont be disappointed.

I am one of those people who hated going to the dentist, even for something as simple as a cleaning. That changed once I started going to Aspen Springs Dental. The staff is great, they are professional, and they care about their patients. Over the years I have had a great deal of work done by Dr. Blatter to include filings, crowns and an implant and I have never had a complaint about the work or the results. At one point Dr. Blatter suggested I have several old silver filings replaced but he never pushed me to get it done, He suggested that I could do it over a period of time and to make appointments whenever I wanted. I would definitely recommend Aspen Springs Dental and have even referred them to anyone I knew who was looking for a dentist.
