I see great now and Dr Wang was awesome at walking me though the procedure while doing it making me feel at ease. I did feel as though I was just a number. I was not informed thought the entire process (before my surgery and afterwards). I hate to leave a not perfect review but Ive tried to reach the office and was asked to email them. I just had surgery a week prior and and my eyes were not able to work on the computer all day (they would just feel more tired than usual) so I called to try to speak to a manager with my review and have not heard back yet since my second attempt to contact her. I am one month post surgery. I did get an email thanking me and asking me to refer them to my friends. I found the answers to all my concerns by searching on the internet and asking a friend whos company seemed to have much better customer service for $1,000 less. I was feeling like paying premium I would get the best and not feel like I was a number at a lasik mill. How could they be better? 1. They can call you before your lasik surgery appointment to confirm your appointment, let you know they are excited for you. Ask if you have any questions regarding the procedure or what to expect afterwards. 2. They should have you see the same person you saw on the first appointment the person who sees you on your second appointment to make you feel more at ease (you are only in their office 2 times). 3. Give you your eye drop prescription the day you schedule your surgery so you dont have to go fill your prescription while you are recovering. 4. Tell you before your surgery of what to expect for the first few days/ weeks so that when you see halos or your vision gets a bit blurry or your eyes feel really dry you dont freak out. You will then know it is part of the healing process and its not the worst case outcome its ok. I had to find this out by researching on the internet. 5. Call you the day after your surgery to see how you are feeling and if you have questions. My dentist calls to ask me that after a filling and I just had eye surgery that I paid almost $4,000 for and I dont get a call? 6. Let you know that you will follow up with your eye doctor (not their office some companies have you follow back up at the laser center) not only the first week but several times afterwards... Just so you feel informed. 7. When they take your picture after your surgery so you can post it on Facebook it would be nice if they sat you in a sturdy chair not a doctor stool on wheels after all the patient did just have surgery. Again my results are great and I am seeing 20/15. I am thrilled to see again and to see well. I think they are amazing eye doctors they just need to step up the service for the price you are paying.

generally a good experience with the Lipflow thermal pulsation procedure for my dry eye disease but prior to Thanksgiving I called and no one called me back because I was experiencing some discomfort and dryness.I then called back on Friday after Thanksgiving and the on-call person never called me back, I didnt call back the following week because I was going to Florida. After I went to Florida on December 7, I experienced initially great comfort with my eyes but then after two weeks the discomfort went back to a 7 or 8, 10 being the worst. I contacted Dr. Frantz in Ft Myers, Florida and a Dr..Robin did the LipoFlow thermal pulsation over again. They did things a little differently in that they cleaned my eye lids with the Blipharix (Dremel like) tool and also they did an infrared image of my meibomian glands TO REVEAL THAT 10% of my meibomian gland were dead. Similar to my experience with Omni Eye Center, my eyes comfort level improved for about 10 days and then went back to a greater discomfort. I called back Dr. Robin who saw me the next day. His examination revealed my eye lids were somewhat crusted and irritated and changed my eye lid cleaning to include using a q-tip on the surface of the lids where the meibomian glands are located. This has greatly improved my eye comfort. The exact procedure done two times each day is as follows: I first clean my eye lids with the Occusoft eye cleaning tissues and then I wet the q-tip with liquid from the cleaning tissue. I rub the upper and lower lids inside the eye lashes where the meibomian glands are located and then I rinse my eyes with lukewarm water. I then dry my eyes and spray them with Avenova and rub it into my lids with my finger. I then heat my eyes using a Bruder mask and place a wet paper towel over my eyes before placing the warm Bruder mask on the paper towel . I warm my eyes for about 5 to 7 minutes in this manner. Then in accordance with Dr. Robinss instructions I put a drop of Restasis in each eye. I also rub Arithromycin paste on my eye lid before going to sleep. I also found that blinking my eyes 10 to 15 times several times per day and squeezing my eyes tightly on each blink helps release meibomian gland oil which greatly improves my eye comfort. I can now say since January 11, 2017 when my Lipoflow themal pulsation was performed for the second time , my eyes are greatly improved to a 4 or 5 where 10 is the worst and have been able to resume most normal activities like driving , playing golf etc

I had LASIK last week and I am so happy with my results. I had a great expereince while I was there and all the staff were wonderful, especially Kim. Prior to my surgery everything was arranged by my eye doctor and all my pre-op and post-op were done at my doctors office so I dont have to travel back and forth. This makes it very easy for patients. I went to Spivack planning to have LASIK done on both of my eyes and when I saw their doctor for my exam prior to the surgery, she actually let me know it wasnt needed for both eyes. It was so nice to have a second opinion and one from their office telling me both eyes were not needed- I could tell they were really invested in quality patient care and not just the cost of the surgery. That saved me $2000. The office was comfortable and the staff were very helpful. Before and after my surgery (which took about 10 minutes) I was taken to a very warm and comfortable room, they kept it dark and had music playing and gave me a warm blanket so I could relax before and after the surgery. I would encourage anyone thinking about LASIK to go there. My only complaint was that I was planning on spending $4000 for LASIK eye surgery but yet I had to buy a cup of coffee in the lobby. I know that seems silly, but to have a facility as nice as theirs, and to know how much the procedure costs, it seems very silly that you have to put a dollar in the machine to get a cup of coffee. If you are having LASIK you need a driver with you because they give you medicine to help relax you. They provide free wifi for guests so a cup of hot te or coffee would be nice for the people waiting.
