WORST physician in the CSHP physicians group. Dr. Barragry is pompous, condescending and has absolutely no bedside manner. If you are in need of pain management, THIS IS NOT THE DOCTOR for you! When I first started seeing Dr. Barragry, I told her that I was taking Adderall for ADD and had been taking it for years. I was experiencing excruciating back pain. Dr. Barragry made me sign a pain management agreement, allowed me 1 pain pill a day, and sent me to physical therapy. She suggested that I have bariatric surgery and I did just that. I quickly started losing weight. However, she never saw me again for my follow-up appointments. While Dr. Barragry was on vacation, my pain became unbearable and her PA prescribed me additional pain medication. I was hospitalized and the hospital report indicated that I was being given Adderall along with other medications during my hospital stay. When Dr. Barragry came back from vacation and I went to my follow-up appointment, she said that she was "firing me" as a patient because I had undermined her position and had "broken" the pain management contract. I told her that I was experiencing horrible back pain. She said that I was nothing but a drug seeker and that I was exaggerating my pain. She stated further that I had never told her about the Adderall. Two days later, I was again hospitalized with lower leg paralysis, degenerative arthritis of the spine and 3 herniated discs. The surgeon told me that it is very common for post-op bariatric patients to suffer with spinal collapse because the fat that used to hold things in place suddenly disappears with the rapid weight loss. Obviously, Dr. Barragry is not very knowledgeable about the side effects of the surgeries that she recommends to her patients. DR. ANNA BARRAGRY needs to give up her practice and go into medical research so that she is FAR, FAR AWAY from patients in need of medical attention. She has absolutely no business trying to function in patient care. My wife has worked in nursing at our local hospital and she quit seeing Dr. Barragry LONG before I was "fired" as a patient. My wife knows many, many physicians at Colorado Springs Health Partners and she said that she has never met a more arrogant doctor as Anna Barragry. I wish I would have listened to my wife.

Let me start by saying I pay a enormous amount of money every year for my insurance ($5k+) yet the kind of treatment I receive is completely unacceptable. I went to see Anna today for some Insomnia and PMS issues and it was a complete waste of time. I asked for a prescription that I had taken years ago that had worked wonders for me and Dear Anna in all her wisdom flat out refused to give me the prescription. She instead attempted to turn me into a zombie and make me into a "customer for life" by trying to put me on a drug that had a 6 week loading period FOR SYMPTOMS I DONT HAVE!! The side effects of this drug was anorexia, possible suicide, increased anxiety, etc. Not to mention there has been a class action lawsuit against the makers of this drug for years....yet she thinks she knows best right? She, along with Colorado Springs health partners were ready to get those follow up appointments scheduled just to make sure they got their money rolling in. Her suggestion for my insomnia? "Take some melatonin" she says....yes Anna, thats why I pay for insurance so I can go to a doctor and be told to take something I already tried years ago and it doesnt work, ask anyone who suffers from insomnia. Im sickened that this is the type of treatment I receive after the thousands of dollars I pay every year for my crap insurance. Sorry Anna I didnt go pick up that toxic prescription you attempted to put me on now make sure and jam my insurance as hard as you can so you can go buy a new car or put your child in a private school. I await the massive bill I will receive in the next few weeks after you get done raping my insurance and I sit here with the same issue I had before I stepped foot into your office. Us who pay through the nose for our insurance deserve a better quality doctor and Im sorry to say but Anna Krauss and Colorado Springs health partners dont measure up.....in the slightest.

One of the worst patient provider experiences Ive ever had. Im new to Colorado and recently divorced, where Ive lost my tricare benefits and had to pay $125.00 out of pocket for her to hand me a list of psychiatrists that may help me. Having a disorder that greatly affects my ability to function on a day to day basis was not even discussed because there was obvious discrimination-- I was self pay and my ADD medications are controlled substances. Rather than discuss a legitimate plan with me I was brushed off like a drug seeker. I genuinely needed help. Worst patient care ever. Shes the only Doctor that has open availability for a reason.

Dr. Barragry has been very patient and listens when I have concerns. She has been such a help to deal with my daily struggle. I feel confident that she will remain my primary care physician for as long as we are both in Colorado Springs.

Dr Barratry is amazing. She listens, cares and is responsive. The only difficulty is getting in with her. Any appointment for anything is months out. Love her!
