Nomad One

This is the most disgusting physicians office that I have ever seen, and the staff treat the patients and prospective patients in abhorrent fashion. Do not ever spend your money in this horrible place. The receptionist has no manners, and that is outpaced by the lack of manners of the doctors. Dr Carpenter was already part of the failed Plum Creek Medical... Dont trust them, you could pay with your health. Additionally, you will wait ten minutes for them to ever pick up the phone, and the receptionist is so rude and snotty, that it is extremely difficult to want to even make an appointment. But surprise, the Dr.s are rude too...

Castle Rock

Best decision I made for myself was to leave Dr. Mackays office. Maybe without realizing it OR flat out not caring -- some of her comments came across as immature and unprofessional. I use to think a lot of her, but she is a class act zero. Her assistant Erin is HORRIBLE. She provides test results, answers questions, returns calls, communicates with the pharmacy all at her convenience. Her personality is a wash....there is not one. If your looking for a HS environment, schedule an appointment here. If your looking for compassionate quality health care, move on.

I am a new patient of Dr. Carpenters and of Castle Rock Family Care. My first experience was when I went to sign up Dr. Carpenter as my primary doctor with my insurance company. The insurance company had to call Castle Rock Family Care three times before we got things worked out. The office was very helpful and understanding during the process. My next experience was having my physical exam by Dr. Carpenter. He was very friendly, understanding, and did a thorough exam. I was very impressed.

Dr. Mackay is an outstanding doctor who takes the time to listen to her patients. I have never been treated as well in a doctors office. I feel the care and treatment I receive from her is outstanding! It has been three years since my last review. I am still a patient of Dr. Mackay and I think she is better than ever. Didnt even let me know when they decided that I needed to come back in before they would refill my medication (non narcotic). It just sat at my pharmacy for weeks before they said our doctor would not refill. These were both medications that shouldnt be stopped. Apparently they are so busy they couldnt pick up the phone and give me a call to let me know that I needed to come in.

Dr. Mackay and her entire staff at Castle Rock Family Care are absolutely fantastic. They are all very knowledgeable, and will find an answer for you if they dont know some little detail. They always seem happy to see me and make me feel glad that I came to them for whatever my issue was, from random inflammations, insect bites, to dietary programs. I think the world of them.

Dr Mackay is the best of the best! I drive from Brighton to see her which is a one hour drive. She truly cares about you and your family. I like her balance on prescription versus holistic, she is open to both. My husband and I have been working on loosing weight with no success and since I have been with Dr Mackay my husband lost 90 pounds and I have lost 70 pounds.

The staff at Castle Rock Family Care are very kind, compassionate and friendly. They went out of their way to make me feel welcome and comfortable. It is very rare now to find a medical team dedicated to seeing a person as a whole person and not just another number coming in the door. If you are looking for a new doctor, I would definitely recommend trying them out.

I have been going to Dr. Mackay for almost 6 years now. She is a wonderful and very knowledgeable doctor. I have always been able to get seen for any problems or issues that have come up. Erin her assistant is also helpful and pleasant. I dont understand how people can put a 1 star for this office. Keep up the outstanding work!!!

Doesnt do any good to try and see a doctor when your told you need to wait a few weeks. Dont waste your time this is not what its advertised as, especially when you get laughed at for asking for help. Just another doctors office not actually concerned with helping.

Dr Mackay has taken very good care of my health! She looks outside of the box and is not quick to medicate . I also love that she uses natural hormone therapy and other natural suggestions for your health. The office staff is also very nice and friendly!
