Plain and simple; Dr. Menachof and his staff are absolutely quality health care providers, all with an amazing bedside manner and style. I am one of those people who have sinus and nasal problems almost my entire life. I broke my nose three times in various youth sports. In my 20s I had a rhinoplasty done to "straighten" my nose and to correct air flow. I remember holding the chisel while the surgeon hit it with a mallet to break my nose during the surgery. Not pleasant. That memory has been one of the reasons why Im now in my 60s and I only just now finally had something done. Over he intervening years, Ive suffered from horrible sinusitis and difficulty breathing. The breathing was getting so bad, that I would have to take great gulps of air on occasion to feel like I was getting enough of a breath. Sleeping was another difficulty. As soon as I would lay back, my eyes would start watering and Id begin to cough. This would go on for 15 minutes or more before I could get settled down to sleep. Ive employed all kinds of strategies to get to sleep...most to no avail. It finally got to the point that I knew I needed to do something. I sought out a referral from my general practitioner and they recommended Dr. Menachof. Before I went into visit him I did my due diligence reading up on him and other doctors in the Denver area and the various kinds of procedures I might face. I made an initial appointment with Dr. Menachof over a year ago and met with him in his office. Lets say...the meet went well. He answered all my questions...he was professional and personable and left the meeting not completely convinced. Over the following year, I did more research and came across a number of people who had horrible experiences with sinus surgery. My wife had a major sinus procedure a few years before we met and her story along with her ongoing issues didnt encourage me. However, my symptoms were continuing to get worse and worse. So, a little after a year from the first consultation I visited Dr. Menachof again. He was exceedingly patient with me and answered ever pointed question and follow up honestly and as completely as I could. One of the things I was most concerned with were stories I had read about people who had their Turbinets surgically removed; sometimes without their consent, leading to what was called "dry nose" syndrome. The description of which sounded much worse than what I was experiencing. This was something I wanted to make sure to avoid. I pressed him on this issue. He explained to me in complete detail that surgical removal of the Turbinets was not something he did and explained the procedure (using a probe and radio waves) he would use to reduce the Turbinets in my nose. To say the least, I was a bit aggressive in my questions and was looking for him to give me any reason to not have a procedure done. He was patient, complete in his answers and ultimately reassured me. A few weeks later I had a procedure with him. The process was absolutely minimally invasive, I walked out of the office after...no black eyes or swelling and now....10 weeks later....my nasal passages are open like never before...well, at least since I had my nose broken when I was a kid. I sleep completely every night and the shortness of breath is gone. Now...I will say...the recover was not completely without its unpleasant moments. For the first 3 days after the surgery, I maybe slept 4 hours total. I had coughing fits. Apparently, one of the ways the body tries to dislodge things from you sinuses is through coughing. And, as a result of that I lot my voice. But, thats all in the past now and Im pleased to say that Ive recovered and feel that this is a major quality of life change for me. I am trying to get my lovely wife to over come her fears and take a consultation with Dr. Menachof. for her sinus issues. I HIGHLY and COMPLETELY recommend the Dr. He is the real deal. His staff is pretty hilarious as well.

I would give 0 star if that was an option. My child had some allergy issues and the doctor recommended nose surgery. He promised that the congestion issue would disappear or at least improve dramatically. My child went through the surgery, which resulted in two weeks of pain and missed school, and bills after bills of who knows what expenses. Well, after all this pain, and missed school, and thousands of dollars, my childs congestion did not improve at all. Its been 7 months and Im still getting new bills for that ill-motivated surgery. For the most recent bill, I sent in the check and the check was cashed more than two weeks ago. And yet, I got another bill telling me that I did not pay that bill. After verifying with my bank account and seeing that it was indeed cashed more than 2 weeks ago, I called them a few times to inform them that I have already paid that bill. They have refused to correct the mistake. Im going to review my past bills from them (and they have sent me many) to see if this has happened with my past payment and I have ended up paying the same bill twice. The bills after the surgery surely have been endless. That is after weve already paid a lot before and on the day of the surgery. All told, weve paid $2942.65 and my childs condition absolutely didnt improve whatsoever. And this is after our insurance has paid its share. Stay away from them as far away as possible!!! Otherwise, you may end up like us: receiving unnecessary "treatment" at great physical pain and financial cost to you to enrich the doctors.

Dr Menachof is precious! He is truly the kind of doctor everyone wishes for. He is kind and caring and it is abundantly clear that his patients are #1. There are just no words to describe how wonderful he is. My surgery was a life saving procedure for me and the results have been amazing already. He made me feel comfortable from the very first day. He explained everything so very clearly that I immediately knew I was in great hands. He is very, very knowledgeable and truly cares about his patients well being. I just cant say enough about him. Dr Menachof you are truly a gift from God. In addition, I could never find the words to describe his staff. Every single staff member is wonderful. They are very helpful and knowledgeable and they make you feel like family. I would recommend Advanced Ear Nose & Throat to anyone who wants a kind, caring and nurturing environment surrounding them when it comes to visiting the doctor.

I love Dr. Menachof and his staff. He makes seeing a doctor not like seeing a doctor at all, hes very friendly and super nice and he fixed my problem. Ive been getting sick for the last couple years with repeat sinus infections, allergies, and extreme strep throat. Recently he did sinus surgery on me and removed my tonsils as well. Now Im starting his allergy program to conquer those as well. Im glad I had the surgery, although I wouldnt recommend having the tonsillectomy as well as sinus surgery together due to the fact that you cant breathe out of your nose or mouth. I was insistent on having the surgery before going to college due to germs and bacteria that fester in the dorms. Thank you to Dr. Menachof and Judy and Sarah and Ms. Melissa for all of your help. The big black boogies coming out of my nose are still the best part of the surgery. It has been a very enjoyable experience with everyone I wouldnt trade it.
