I dont often write a review for a business, but felt compelled this time: I was informed that my 5-year-old son, Sam, failed his routine vision screen in Kindergarten and needed immediate follow up. Right away, I took him to see a doctor who ran a myriad of tests and said: "your son is going to need glasses, follow me." My boy and I left the vision center $700 poorer, and upon receiving his glasses, Sam still coudnt see. I made an appointment with a pediatric specialist and went through the same routine: myriad of tests, changed the prescription on the glasses....kid still cant "see." The worst part was that I (a medical professional) still didnt have a clear understanding of what was wrong with Sam, and how to help correct it. Thats when a friend told me about Front Range Family eyecare. For our first visit, Dr. Godfrey spent ample time with us (about 1.5 hours), and spoke to us about Sams eye condition in language we both could understand. Dr. Godfrey not only helped us find the best option for correcting Sams vision, he reffered us to a vision therapist to help give him the best chance at optimal correction and development. Dr. Godfrey and his staff have always treated us with the utmost kindess, respect, compassion and understanding. They taught my son and I how to use contacts, and Sam is now a highly functioning, overachieving, 1st-grader, who puts his own contacts in, takes them out, and cleans them everyday. Every time Sam and I go see Dr. Godfrey, I walk out feeling refreshed, cared for, and whole. Theyve got themselves a client for life!! Cant thank you enough, Dr Godfrey and staff for helping us navigate a lifelong challenge for Sam. Many many thanks, and keep up the good work!

Meh. Subpar service. As the sister branch to the other eye care place near the DTC, I guess I shouldnt have expected much. When I received my glasses two years ago, both lenses had three tiny scratches (deep, visible scratches right where my pupils are distanced from... almost deliberate, they were so perfect). I demanded for them to send it back and oh boy, did they get on their high horse. They said Id have to use one of two of my Crizal rebuffs in order to get this problem taken care of... uhh, wut? I demanded for them to rebuff my glasses for free/without using my Crizal warranty and they finally complied. HOWEVER: The next 3~4 times I went in, they had my name on some sort of blacklist and always told me my glasses were fine and DID NOT ALLOW ME TO USE MY CRIZAL WARRANTY. I wanted to get my glasses rebuffed and they told me they were fine. Secondly, the doctor rushed the hell out of my appointment and was irritated by my mere presence. The irritability in his voice was clear for me to hear. Never coming back.

They refused to authorize my 1800 Contacts order because my prescription was two months expired. While I understand this is probably the doctors policy, I had to learn about the refusal from 1800 Contacts. My doctor never contacted me. Now I cant get more lenses until I renew my prescription - which is an expensive and costly process. (I also only have a week or two supply of contacts left, so Im not sure how I am going to pay for another eye exam...) Most eye doctors Ive worked with will at least warn you before refusing to supply you with contact lenses. I personally think this location is annoyed with me because Ive chosen to go with an online supplier instead of through them. Furthermore, Ive noticed that if they dont have stock for my contact lenses, they will instead go off prescription and give me contact lenses that are -.25 stronger. Usually I dont notice until after I have left the store. I am switching eye drs and recommend you do as well.

This review is for the Front Range Family Eye Care office at 4920 Yosemite St., in Greenwood Village, CO. I went to this office as a veteran who was sent by the VA to get glasses with my prescription from the VA. The VA would pay up to $325.00 for the glasses. The gentleman at his desk as you walk in looks at my VA letter and prescription, then reaches under his desk to bring out a box that had several pairs of glasses piled in it. He says, "These are the glasses that fall beneath the $325.00 limit of the VA." They had very large lenses and gold colored thin wire frames that looked as if they came from a "dollar store." I thought that I might be on a Candid Camera episode, because I could not believe that he had the nerve to show me those glasses. Beside the worst style of frames that I had ever seen, to think that they would charge hundreds of dollars for them is beyond belief!

I have been going to Front Range Family Eye Care for at least 10 years and have always had such an outstanding experience in terms of service and expertise regarding my vision and eyes in general. Dr. Godfrey and his staff (particularly Toni) offer premier service. They are always on time and provide wonderful care. I will never forget when my 10 year old daughter got a splinter in her eye over the weekend and we were able to call Dr. Godfrey, who opened his business early on Monday morning to take the splinter out, so she could still make her field trip. Its that kind of personalized service where they go above and beyond to make sure they have a happy customer. I would never consider going anywhere else. They are the best!!

Customer service is the most awful doctors office I have ever experienced!! If I could give zero stars I would. The desk ladies are condescending and talk over you when trying to explain the issue. They dont keep things organized or correct prescription on file. Theyll approve it once, then after when ordering again inform you they never approved this prescription. Every time asked to speak with the eye doctor himself Im always told hes not in the office. Joke of an eye care place! I would suggest going elsewhere because this place will just give you a hassle and headache.

I love the staff at front range family eyecare. I needed new glasses and Toni was SO patient while I tried on new frames. She also helped me to choose a frame that was stylish, which made me look good. Also, I love the contacts I get from Doctor Godfrey. I used to have contacts that hurt my eyes, but with the contacts that Doctor Godfrey gives me, my eyes feel so comfortable, and I can see incredibly well. I recommend that anyone goes to front range family eyecare, because I know they will be well taken care of.

I worked with Toni to purchase a new pair of awesome sunglasses. Her level of service was amazing!! She went above and beyond to assist me with getting the pair that I wanted, and then assisted me with making sure the fit of the frames were perfect!! I am very impressed!!

Customer service is horrible. Very argumentative staff. Didnt like this place last year, but thought I would give it a second chance... nothing has changed. Probably the worst customer service I have had in a while.

Wonderful doctors and front desk. Quick turn around on ordering contacts.
