Compassionate care is exactly what you get from Dr. Puskaric and her staff. I followed her from Middletown and transferred the care of all my pets to her. She is knowledgeable, and if she doesnt have the answer she has no problem reaching out to specialists for their assistance. She is up to date on recent developments in veterinary medicine, is open to alternative medicine (acupuncture, chiropractic ), and is always willing to investigate any issue, new food, new supplement or new treatment that Ive heard about. She is so gentle with every dog or cat Ive seen her handle. She never tries to push treatments or diagnostics on anyone. She understands the issues facing rescue groups. She can sympathize and empathize with both her patients and their owners. I love this animal hospital!

Absolutely the best veterinary hospital! I have been bringing my dog here for several years. After having several bad experiences with other vets I finally found a place where I am happy. My dog loves Dr Puskaric and all the ladies in the office. They really treat him like he is their own. The staff bends over backwards to make sure you pet is receiving the best care. They are always going the extra mile and are also sensitive to the people, like myself, who at times can get emotional when my dog isnt feeling well. They truly are the best. I cannot be happier to have my dog as a patient of theirs.

Compassionate Care has been very helpful with my dog. They always get back to me quickly and do their best to get me in quickly as well. All the staff have been very nice to me and my pup and are knowledgeable and caring as well. They are a little farther from me than I would like but, I know from plenty of prior experience that the way staff handle the dog will dictate how comfortable the dog is with the staff. My dog is a rescue and he is still a little skittish a year and a half later but, he seems to trust the staff here and that matters to me.

I recently adopted a cat from Cat Tales of CT. My sweet girl, Heidi. She was due for a follow-up at Compassionate Care. When I called to make the appointment the receptionist was helpful & polite. On appointment day, we met the vet tech & Dr Puskaric. Both of them were very friendly & attentive to Heidi. Heidi received competent, compassionate care at her visit. If I did not live so far away & had no veterinary care in place, I would definitely become a client of Compassionate Care. They truly live up to their name.

Compassionate Care is a wonderful and caring environment! The staff is always super friendly and welcoming during every visit! Dr. Puskaric is also extremely loving to all the animals and looks out for their wellbeing. Our dog, Gigi, is always excited to go and see Dr. Puskaric and the ladies running the front desk every time we come in for an appointment. The help and service offered by Compassionate Care is outstanding! I would recommend it to anyone looking for a caring and loving vet to help their four-legged friend!

I cant say enough good things about Compassionate Care. Its evident that they truly care about their patients. I have two dogs that are both anxious, one showing by flight and the other fight, and they are extremely patient and understanding. The staff has a way of making them both comfortable. When my dog Stanley was suffering from happy tail and just not healing, Dr. P went above and beyond for him. We have also used them for over a dozen fosters. Its always a pleasant experience to come to the office.

We love Compassionate Care Veterinary Hospital! They take wonderful care of our pets. All of the staff are professional, friendly & caring. They take the time to make the animals as calm and comfortable as they can - including getting down on the floor with a nervous dog. The facility is clean and welcoming - for the two legged visitors and the four, The location is easy to get to and there is always plenty of parking. The hours and availability of assistance are very accommodating.

We have followed Dr. Puskaric since we moved to the area. She is responsible for the care and continued health of three dogs for us - one passed in June 2010. Dr. Puskaric and her team has managed to help us beat what every other clinical team thought was untreatable with our Lucy. Lucy, according to others, was not supposed to make it until two years old...she just turned six at Christmas! This is a direct response to the care of Dr. P and her team at Compassionate Care.

DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE!!!!! The owner is RUDE and GREEDY She doesnt care about your PETS just her money , I was discriminated just because of a voucher that I had of low income and of to many questions I was asking !! If any one loves their pet as much as I do and care too much is asking questions really a bad thing??? Apparently at this vet it is . So anyone who cares of how there pet is treated avoid Compassionate Care Veterinarian hospital !!!

We cannot say enough about the first rate care that CCVH offers to its clients. They are for us just a phone call away or a short ride from our home in Cromwell, CT. Just took our new dog last week. They are very thorough and got back to us quickly with lab results. They have great monthly plans so you can take great care of your pet. They also sent a nice card welcoming us to their place ! Little touches like that show that they want to do their best for our furry family members!

Weve been visiting Compassionate Care for three years now, and the entire staff is helpful and understanding. Dr. Piscarik is wonderful with our pups, even when Dakota is feeling particularly mischievous. Both dogs love her and usually behave. Theyre the best vet hospital Ive dealt with ever.

This clinic is wonderful. When my Billie crossed the rainbow bridge, they facilitated everything and were beyond caring. I couldnt have asked for better. Our dog Flop is currently vetted with them as well and its great. I recommend Compassionate often. Simply, they truly care.
