On Match 8, 2016, I went to the Podiatrist, Dr. Jose Castiblanco. I have never been to a Podiatrist before or to any First Choice doctors. I was having pain in my ankle and had some problems with a few toe nails. I was very nervous but I was tired of hurting. I was referred to First Choice by my niece Mary Holmes. Dr. Castiblanco is a wonderful person and Podiatrist. He is professional, kind, caring, gentle, and knowledgeable. He knows all about feet! He answered all my questions and made me feel less stressed. He made sure that I got the right pain gel and heel supports. I am so happy that the pain is decreasing. I feel confident that all the pain will be gone shortly. I have referred several friends and my family to Dr. Jose Castiblanco. I also want to give a compliment to Jessenia and Monty who gave me awesome patient customer care. They went the extra distance to make me feel comfortable and know that they cared about me! I visited here for my dental appointment. The staff at the front desk was friendly and nice. She answered my questions thoroughly and processed the paperwork for me without delay. The doctors (dentists) were very professional, yet very friendly! It was my first visit to EHCH because I thought I might have gotten some cavities. We did some x-rays and the doctor examined my teeth two or three times because we couldnt find any cavities. Yet, after careful examination, the doctor found out that my third molar would come out soon and point them out to me. The doctor asked me about my future plans to visit dentist back at home (I am not from Hartford) for the long-term and advised me very well on that. I was so glad that I went to EHCH for my dental treatment to meet great dentists and heartily recommend this dental clinic. Its too bad that I dont even know the doctors last name when I want to thank him.

The worst clinic u can go to. They dont call u back when results come in. U have to call your own referrals n when u do they cant help u cause its a medical assistance job. Schedule appointment from 6 months ago. I just got a call that my appointment has to be reschedule because the doctor goes to lunch. Mind u my boyfriend has n appointment half hour before me but reschedule my appointment without even asking me!!!! They tell u they are doctors when they are only nurse assistance. Try calling to make new appointment u be on hold so long u r better of going in person!!!! Ask to speak to the manager they give u the round around then tell u everyone is going to lunch. Worst place I ever been tooooo!!!!!!!! I known to many people that work there but dont last long....why because the are unorganized!!!!!!!

The doctor in Ellington location is the worse doctor in the world ! I took my kids with fever 104 high he didnt do anything ! Did culture though they werent complaining of their throats ! Told me theres nothing wrong I will call you after the culture results come out in a week ! A WEEK with kids fever 105 ! Obviously he isnt qualified and yet he said theres nothing ! My kids were shivering from fever and he is its only viral ! Took my kids to the hospital the second day and guess what they had Pnuemonia and now they are on antibiotics ! If you want to die you should go there

Disorganized with treatment plans. Dont get back to you on labs or give you wrong info. Unable to manage chronic health conditions. Doctor and PA for Ellington location ignorant on treatment guidelines. You might be better off staying away.

The telephone service is horrible after being on hold for over half an hour they hang up and you call again and another half an hour....The hold is beyond unacceptable.

Love my dentist, discounted prices based on income, but service is still solid. Call time to make an appointment is sometimes long, but its worth it. Highly recommend.

I love it there. Their sometimes behind schedule and have you waiting for 2 hrs. or more but very good staff. Melissa Amicone is the best APRN there.
