I wish I didnt even have to give this "facility" a one star rating! I went in there with a pounding migrane and stiff painful neck, I really needed something for the pain, I had taken excedrine and asprin over the few days I had been experiencing these symptoms and was in hope of getting a prescription for the pain. I never use medicine for illnesses however this was far too painful to live with. When I walked in I waited 20 min (I was the ONLY person in there) to speak with the woman at the counter, everyone was in the back talking and saw me but ignored the fact that they were "at work". After a half hour of standing in the waiting from by myself a extremely unpleasant woman called me over to collect some information - she was rude and impatient - I must have intrupted her conversation while she was supposed to be working. Again I had to sit and wait for a nurse, and then again for a doctor that I had walked by on my way in the room I was placed - The two doctors that worked there were conversating as well while I waited another 5 minutes to be seen. I explained my migranes, my stiff neck, the excruciating pain and my failed attempt with excedrine mirgrane medicine. The doctor asked me multiple times why I go to a psychiatrist for stress and anxiety rather than my normal physician (who happened to be out sick this day) - my normal doctor deals with yearly exams and antibiotics for the flu, he doesnt treat anxiety or depression, but this was the doctor at the clinics main concern - rather than the pain that I was in. I dont know why he was so obsessed with my need to see a specialist for a special medical need. Finally he told me that I had a tension headache and to put a hot water bottle on my neck - oh and take aleve (aleve is one of those meds that NEVER has worked for me - but the doc still didnt change his instructions). I wasted 40 minutes waiting to see a "doctor" and 3 minutes being lectured to not see my specialist for stress/aniety and go to my normal doc for that all while not getting an ounce of help or attention for the real problem - my pain! I left crying in pain and headed back to work feeling completely ripped off and insulted. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS - I am calling them tomorrow to refund my insurance claim as they were of no help and could not care less about actually trying to hlep. They are Crooks!

EXCELLENT CARE. EXTREMELY GOOD DIAGNOSTICIANS. For bronchitis I often had treated in Manhattan, these doctors prescribed a different antibiotic for me, and it worked SO much better. Im glad i went to them with Lyme disease. They figured it out (thot it was early arthritis) and gave me the Doxy right away. Very caring and warm.They want you WELL FAST, thats the bottom line. Now I have a local doctor - finally - but I just called the torrington walk-in to make sure my new doctor will prescibe what they did. You can call ahead to ask how the wait is; you can take along a magazine, you can listen to radio in your car. Its pretty cool to have these over-qualified MDs on demand.

Upon initially getting there at 3pm, I was told no doctor could see me for at least a half an hour because they had no water in the building. The woman at the front desk was not friendly at all. When I came back at 3:30, it took 1.5 hours for me to get called up just to show my insurance, then was escorted into a second room to take my blood pressure where the machine didnt work, and finally was walked to a private room where I proceeded to wait more for a doctor. All this was a waste because she told me I need to be sick for 7 days and not the 5 that I was in order to get a prescription for my bronchitis. Im currently driving to another doctor.

I strictly go to the walk in. you may have to wait a good 20 minutes but every time I go they are extremely knowledgeable and helpful.... To me it beats making a doctors appointment having to wait for them to find the time to see you. Ill usually get a sinus infection once a year, normally from lack of sleep...every time Ill go here Ill get a 10 day treatment and by the third or fourth day I feel 98 % better... Im glad we have this walk in center in town.
