This Doctor is truly cruel I had total knee replacements on both knees and I was referred to him through my insurance because I didnt know of any pain management doctors; I began seeing Dr Patel and I explained to him about the pain levels in my knees and I told him that I had some pain in my back from time to time and how it would spasm up so severely that I would vomit well I found out I have a split disk in my back from my MRI but I was sent to Dr Patel because I had just had both knees done; Well all Dr Patel cared about from the time I started was my back he immediately focused on my back he never asked me anything about my knees at all his whole focused seemed to be given me injections in my back in which I had never had done before; so I was ok with it if it was going to relieve the pain in my back but he did a series of 6 injections in my back on one side and said he was going to want to do the other side but the after the first set of shots my back was in more pain then before!!! So when I saw Dr Patel again I said Im not sure I want to get the injections because one it was very painful and to because my back has been hurting more frequent now that I got the first set so Dr Patel got truly hostel and I asked why was he so upset that I no longer want injections I proceeded to ask him didnt he say its no guarantee that it would help so I rather us try something else he got even more furious that I refused the injections and said I could nolonger come to his clinic so my husband said let me get this right because she doesnt want injections your kicking her out of your clinic he said yes so I had to find a new pain management Doctor and I have who told me that was not the way that was supposed to be done at all and that would draw a red flag in someone eyes and I said I agree.

I have been with dr Patel since I had my first back surgery in 2014 it has always been a easy and comfortable experience for me over the years mainly due to my major back problems ive been to a lot of Dr,s and usually have long long waits and end up not being comfortable with the Dr but with Dr Patel ive never had a wait past my appointment and from day one was comfortable he talks to and with me not at and about me all of his staff know and address me bye my first name always ask how my family is doing and even on several occations if Im in a lot of pain or have a concern he has always found away to tell me to come right in and talk to him and try to figure out whats the problem and what he could do to make me more comfortable Im now 47 years old and have had a lot of hardware out in my back and Dr Patel has been ther for me and my family the whole time and always seems to put me first above anything he is the only Dr I dont dread going to see and I refer him to anyone I kmow that is need of this type of Dr

Dr patel is a nice guy... Very respectful. Gives injections which sometimes did or did not help. Only issue I had was while traveling my bags were lost and still not recovered more than a month later. My medication was in the bags. I called the office to find out what i should do until it was time for a refill. I was accused of "abusing" my medication and was told i wouldnt be discharged bc he would act like the conversation never happened. When calling to make my appointment when it was time for my refils i was told that i was discharged. I dont like the way this was handled but hey what can you do!!! Up until that point i had a positive image of him and had even refered several people to him.

On my 2nd visit Dr Patel came across as very concerned and caring. He said"Medications arent the only thing Im going to use to treat you, well try some injections too. He had me sign for trigger point injections which he did and then said hed write me Ultram. I explained it doesnt help me He said Im not giving you anything else. I told him I would not be returning and he was deceitful in getting me to agree to the injections. As I was leaving he told his nurse loud enough for the whole office to hear that I was a drug seeker and not to let me leave til he checked tbe bathroom??? I have never been treated so poorly in my life.

My daughter has been suffering for a while with back issues and has been to different doctors for injections. This particular dr. told her not to cry in his office ever again when she went in for a pain injection. He said it in front of people making her feel very upset. Her diagnosis has been reached and is waiting for the surgeon to decide on a date for the operation. I don t think anyone should be treated like this. Belittled and made to feel so sad.

The office is very nice, always clean & well organized, and the staff is great - very friendly & helpful. They always take you right on time - no long waits to see the doctor. Dr. Patel is very knowledgeable and sincerely tries to alleviate my back pain. He has a good sense of humor & is easy to talk to. Ive been going here for several months now, and will continue to do so.

I saw Dr Patel two years ago and continue today. I had five spine surgeries and suffered from debilitating pain. He worked with him to bring my quality of life from being house bound to being able to go for walk and do activities at home. I truly believe he saved my life!! I never had a problem coming to Dr. Patel. He is very sincere with his observations, and he understands the situation I was in. His whole staff is well trained and very polite at all times. I enjoy the service that he provides as well as his knowledge of my injury. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is in need of Pain Management.
