worst ever! I was lied to by the staff, who told me three times that they were taking new patients. Upon my first call I spoke to a male who stated to me that Dr. Eric Schwarz was the only doctor at the time who would be seeing new patience however Id have to wait until October of 2013 before he could see me, I responded ok and was told by this same male that someone from their office who be calling me back. later that week I received a call from the doctors office who stated to me that she was calling to schedule a date for me to be seen by Dr. Eric Schwarz who again for the second time I was told that this was the only doctor who was seeing new patience at this time. After giving this person all of my information I was placed on hold for about 10 minutes this same person repeated to me that Dr. Eric Schwarz would be the doctor that I would be seeing and then again I was place on hold for several minutes upon her return I was abruptly told that Id be called back and them she hung up the phone. Finally I called back and Identified myself and was transferred to another female who said that they werent taking any new patience when I explained to them that I was told several times by that same office staff that Dr. Eric Schwarz was receiving new patience I was told that they must have meant the Dr. Eric Schwarz from the other office. Know one that is sick asked to be that way I was referred to this office by one of my Doctors that Ive been seeing for a few years and this is how I treated wow!!!! If you cant trust the Doctors and their staff with your heath than maybe their in the wrong business... Thats just sad!!!!

Its an unsettling idea to walk into a room, strip to your underwear, and wait for another man to poke and prod you in areas both public and private. But Dr Schwarz, even when accompanied by a female graduate student on my most recent visit, somehow makes the situation feel completely comfortable. His ability to balance a cheerful personality and professionalism is admirable. My appointments with Dr Schwarz seem (I havent timed them thus I cannot say with certainty) significantly longer than appointments Ive had with other PCPs. Im not sure if this extra time is a method of Christiana Care as a whole or of Dr Schwarz individually, but either way it is greatly appreciated. An extra few minutes of care makes a big difference. Dr Schwarz is a friendly, knowledgeable, professional, nerve-settling DO who spends a generous amount of time listening, evaluating and discussing your health issues. Id encourage anybody who cares about more than just the quick fixes to research the difference between DOs and MDs. Though there is 99% overlap I can confidently say that a DO is a better fit for my life outlook. tldr: I recommend him.

My son & I have been patients of Dr Eric W. Schwarz D.O. for over 15 years. He is a great listener & spends a long time with his patients to make sure he understands their health concerns & also makes sure you dont leave without proper diagnosis or a game plan to figure it out. His whole staff is just as wonderful.
