I had my first visit today at 9:00, or was supposed to, but after waiting for 25 minutes I was told that the doctor was already behind for the day and that it would be some time before I would see him. Of course, I had to inquire about this, as they dont make any kind of announcements, or maybe even call you in advance of your scheduled appointment so you dont waste your time. Besides the wait, the office seemed unclean with the bathroom wastebasket overflowing. If it looks like that at 9:00 and they are already behind with seeing patients then something isnt right. Dr. Ivins may be a good doctor, but I am not impressed with how he runs his office. I will be switching to another doctor.

Dr. Ivins, Dr. Lim, and Dr. Pappas, which ive seen them all depending on work schedule, but mostly Dr. Ivins which is the most experienced, kind, and understandind Dr. i have ever met and i have been seeing him for 6-7 yrs after bouncing around from doc to doc looking for the right one and i found him and i have seen more docs than clouds. Dr. Lim and Pappas are just as good. Tammy and the rest of the staff go above and beyond to accommadate your needs. If you need the very best of the best call and make an appt. to see either doc they are all great (prefferably Dr. Ivins). They WILL HELP GARUANTEED.

Well I must say he may be an excellent doctor but I couldnt get past his receptionist. When I asked if he was seeing new patience I was asked what type of medication I was taking and then told that they do not write prescriptions for those. Perhaps his receptionist should brush up on her medications considering that she said they do not write prescriptions for antihistamines. Very odd and unusual but may have saved me from an even worse experience.

If you can penetrate the hateful pit vipers at the front desk to get to the doctor, you will get great care. I have been seeing Dr. Ivins for many years, but Ive finally had enough of the bullies in the office. If you are sick or hurting, you shouldnt have to take a bunch of verbal abuse from young women who never got past being mean girls in high school. Goodbye H & K. It just isnt worth it.

After reading some of these review I was hesitant to have him be my primary care doc. I have seen him now on a couple of occasions. Ive had nothing but GREAT experiences. That includes his office staff. Hes made me feel extremely comfortable and is non-judgmental. Dr. Ivins has been able treat me properly...where other docs have failed.

Ecksposing Frauds

Great, never had any problems with staff or Dr. Ivins himself. I understand some patients who "Dr. shop" do not last long due to screening, which I fully applaud, giving the state of drug abuse be it street drugs or prescription drugs. Caring staff from top to bottom; I can see why he is so highly rated in the best of Delaware doctors.

Dr Ivins does not have the best bedside manner, but he is very knowledgeable and on top of the current medicine. If you are looking for a doctor to coddle you, he is not the doctor for you. If you want a Doctor who is in the know, and will be your advocate, he is the doctor for you.

Seth Ivins is arrogant and treats his patients like they are below them. He also has a sign in his waiting room that lists a handful of different reasons for him to take your money and not treat you, like not cancelling your appointment within 24 hours, etc.

The best! For such a busy practice, I always feel taken care of. Customer Service is great and, no matter how many patients are waiting to see him, Dr. Ivins ALWAYS takes his time with me and genuinely listens to me. I am NEVER rushed. I love this practice.

Dr. Ivins is extremely knowledgable and at near expert level with psych issues. The office is plain, and aptmnts run long, do to the time he spends with each patient;however, if you acount for that the treatment is top notch.
