Its an awesome place; the nurse Phyllis is simply phenomenal! The only reason Id leave is if Phyllis left. Im surprised by the negative reviews on here. Ive been here for 4 years. Both of my daughters go here too, so its great that we all go to the same place when were sick- it usually happens that way. They have the on-call system that I call whenever I have questions about the kids being sick and theyre great about getting back to you. The only downside is the interns- you typically end up switching your primary doctor every 4 years. Ive had one bad experience with a doctor but I went to the office manager & she corrected it. I used a different doctor in PA for my first daughters first year & I must say this office is SO MUCH better!

As a new patient of 2017, I decide to pick Folk Rd. Family Medicine Center because my insurance was fully in-network and the doctor I picked had a 5/5 star rating. I decided to see Dr. Novneet Sahu and he was absolutely wonderful! Unsure of how the visit was going to go, I ended up really satisfied with this practice. The nurses were very nice and the window staff provided me help with all the information I needed to fill out to become a patient. The treatment team has been very personal, kind & helpful every time I have been back there since. I would STRONGLY recommend this practice/doctor to anyone looking to switch to a new PCD or practice. My overall rating is 5/5.

Horrible horrible horrible!! Why do they have so many residents if they see one patient at a time?? Get to your appointment early and wait over an hour to get seen. Its ridiculous the females in the front sit there and talk and talk no one seems to know what they are doing neither do they care. When calling to make an appointment you have to hold for a very long time and when they finally answer they are rude and have no clue what they are doing. Called to schedule a well child check up and the lady didnt even know what that meant!!! Already moved my entire family out of the practice and you should as well nothing but frustration will come if you visit this office

you will wait on hold for 45 minutes or more to speak to someone and when you do they are rude and unhelpful. If you require a call back expect it to take days. You are being seen by residents which would be fine if they were professional, had good clinical judgement, and ran things by the attending. Sadly no. Then once it is all said and done they will without a doubt screw up your prescriptions forcing you to call and wait on hold forever again. Meanwhile your actual medical problem isnt being addressed. I wouldnt get care here even if it was free.

I went there four years ago they did the same thing to me had to wait a hour and a half to see a doctor and you never see the same doctor it always a different doctor they give the excuse and lies that he not there today they put me on strong high dose pain killers for 6 months and then took me off of them cold turkey I went threw bad withdraw they didnt care I dont know how it is legal to run a place like this all patients should have a right to be treated with dignity these doctors to not follow there oths

Its a shame about the low reviews, this was the best medical experience of my life! I saw Dr. Beams and nurse Phyllis, along with a medical student. Their attention and care were outstanding, they discussed my options in depth and made sure I was well informed on my situation. I was in and out in less than an hour, everyone, even the receptionist were so kind, and I even got excited when they said to make a follow up because now I could visit again. Thanks everyone!

my treatment at the Lab, x-ray and doctors areas have been nothing but good for several years. It is so convenient to have it all in one location. i have found 2 wonderful doctors since going to the family health center, and have never been treated rudely, The nursing staff is pleasant and professional. They are very busy and to be patient and forgiving as a patient helps to smooth the way.

You always on hold for a long period of time and when someone answer they are not friendly or helpful act like they dont know what they are doing. Also when a resident Doctor leaves you should be notify when they leave and who will be taking their place. I will be looking for a new doctor.

This place is horrible! My mother never got called with her biopsy report. Another doctor had to call. Turns out she has stage four cancer. They still havent called its been a month. Ive called for my asthma refills still hasnt been called it. Left 5 messages. Going to different doctor.

Went for blood work for doctor early and was treated terribly. The one beat up looking man or women not sure, was chewin like a cow on her cookies, smacking her smart ass lips, rudely did NOT HELP! Its Nasty . F- for christiana care. I will never go back to that jungle of an office.
