What a great addition to the neighborhood! Dr. Teferi, Kristen, and Isha were so kind and welcoming to my cats. They took good care of my Teddy when he needed his tooth removed. I had already been to a vet 10 days before and had made an appointment with a far-away branch of my regular vet to have it removed as a result of a nasty break. I wanted to find someplace that could see Teddy sooner and that would also take Care Credit. Fortunately, a block from my apartment, just in time, P St. Pet Practice opened and they have Care Credit. I also took advantage of the first office visit free and brought in my other cats, which they said was fine. They got the vaccination and maintenance package, including deworming, ear cleaning, nail trim, anal gland expressing, and check up. Everything was priced reasonably and they were so nice. I also like how they complimented my cats on their behavior. They had nice pictures on the wall and the rotating photos on the TV were fun to watch (nice work, Kristen!), plus it was very clean. I highly recommend you give them your business.

I just got back from having a wellness check on my newly adopted puppy Stella. It is great to have a neighborhood vet practice so close to home. The practice is located in a newly renovated town house on P Street right before Florida Avenue. At the time of my appointment which was 6 PM, there was plenty of street parking. The receptionist / vet tech greeted us and made a big fuss over my puppy. We were shown to the small but efficiently designed exam room where she listened to her breathing and heart and took her temperature. We then saw the doctor who also made a big fuss over my pup, she was very comfortable and happy during the entire visit. The vet gave her a very through wellness exam while we discussed her history, what I was feeding her etc. The team at P Street pet practice are really friendly, love animals its obvious, and seem knowledgeable and thorough. If you live in Shaw, Eckington or Noma, you should check out this neighborhood veterinary practice.

Dr. T is great. I found him doing an online search for vets and all the reviews were so great I thought Id give him a call. Well I was very pleased. I had to do a full check up of my 17 year old cat. He was really kinda, thoughtful, great bedside manner and gave me all the one on my time I needed. His serviced is very personalized. You arent going to be dealing with a front desk person and an assistant or sitting there waiting. You make an appt and its with him and hes there and ready when get there. He then scheduled a time for me to come back to pick up my kitty and made sure he had time to explain all the results. He allowed me to follow up multiple times by phone and email. I couldnt have been more pleased with his service, his rates and his knowledge!

The high star reviews definitely ring true. My dog had a foot injury and after calling around to every open clinic I was happy to find they not only offered the lowest price for a new client exam but also provided the most accommodating time to make an appointment. They were open until 7pm and my appt was for 6:30pm but Dr Teferi was extremely caring and patient with his time to treat my pup! I was afraid we might be rushed but Dr Teferi took his time in the most calming way for both me and my injured pup! Very happy to have found this clinic!

Great veterinarian and a great practice! I would give this place 10 stars if I could. Dr Teferi was awesome. You can tell he really loves what he does. He took great care of my dog and even called to give me an update right after he finished the procedure. He took the time to answer all of my questions and explain exactly what he did. The price was very fair and there were no unexpected charges. I would definitely recommend you take your pets here.

Was able to get an appointment right away. Nice, new, and very conveniently located facility with super friendly staff. Dr. T was great with my nervous chihuahua and had him taken care of quickly and in a comforting manner. Dr. T then followed up with a call and text a few days later to check in on my dogs welfare and reaction to the meds he was prescribed. Overall, I would highly recommend this practice, especially to all the NoMa-area pet owners.

This was the best bet experience me and Tobi have ever had. Dr To is not only super friendly and professional but he knows how to make it an easy going and great experience for your pet,picky Tobi even liked the treats, lol. The prices are pretty reasonable for DC as well. Overall I would highly recommend this vet to anybody looking to get their pet in great hands.
