I was recommended to come here from Rockys Retreat and I am so thankful for Sherris recommendation. This was the best vet visits Ive ever had! Finding a good vet is not challenging but finding a great one is a rarity! Ive used several vets in the Orlando area including, AVS- (yes all three departments -->dermatology, ophthalmology and oncology), Dr. Nuñez at Baldwin Park Animal Hospital, Dr. Duprey at Corrine Drive Animal Hospital and ER Lake Underhill. This place is just amazing and Dr. Rubinstein is one of the best vets Ive encountered. He was great in both experience and service. Pros: 1. Fantastic Facility! From the first moment I walked in, Ive noticed how clean the facility is. The building is so incredibly cute, it looks like it was out of a storybook. Yellow is such a cheerful color! 2. There were so many patients and all of them seemed very happy with the service 3. The staff has to be the friendliest Ive ever encountered. Both Amber and Jackie were AWESOME 4. Our vet tech was very responsible. Her name was Tiffany and she shared her own story of her rescue doggies. Ive done so many annual exams and a lot of places just weighs the dog and do not take their temperature. She showed a lot of love for Lucky :) 5. Dr Rubinstein! He was patient, clear and thorough. He clearly loves animals and has decades of experience. He took the time to look at Luckys hips, hind legs, ears, and eyes. Ive gone to other vets and by contrast they usually just give a cursory glance at your dog and that is it. 6. The best part is the price! Their prices are incredibly affordable. The visit itself was only $49. I know visit prices has gone up in the past year but everywhere else charges $50+ and they pitch 20 different products at you. This was particularly true at Corrine Dr. They tried to sell me on a wellness plan that I never ended up using. They tried to sell me many supplements that didnt work. Park Ave Vet also gave me a fantastic price on neutering. It was a lot lower than the other facilities Ive called. Ive heard anywhere from $300-$500. My pets were neutered in Baldwin Park and I paid $200 something years ago and that was the price I was quoted by Par Ave. 7. Multiple pet discount! I have three dogs. This is a life saver! Now I use the money towards grain-free dog food and toys! Cons: 1. Apopka is really far from me. I wish I live closer. 45 min drive is still worth it! 2. There were many patients so the wait was a bit long. I dont write a lot of google reviews except when I have a truly great or awful experience. heh. Hope you take my advice and visit this wonderful place.

Just moved to the area and (much like the other reviewer) woke up to find that my new puppy was having an allergic reaction to something. We called and got an immediate appointment time for 8:15 (they open at 730 but no doctors until 8) . We were there early for paperwork, and treated very nicely. They have the friendliest staff of any vet that I have ever been to, especially to my dog.. The nurse held him and made sure that he was comfortable while they weighed him and whatnot. We figured out what he was allergic to right away! They prescribed the meds there and we picked them up on the way out with absolutely no hassle. They gave us a bag of treats for him on the way out too! It was $45 for the appointment and then another $40 for the medicine. You can print off a 10% coupon for your first visit on their website. All-in-all I have a wonderful experience and so did my puppy! He enjoyed every bit of it, even though he was feeling quite under the weather. Id suggest this vet to anyone in the area.

My mouse was having short breaths and sometimes rapid breathing. His nose was bleedy an I started to worry. So I looked at the reviews on here which revealed to be positive. The staff was wonderful with greetings once you walk through! They really take the time to care for your pets health. Finally, at the end they gave me an antibiotic to treat what Milo had, bacteria. So, once he was given a single dosage, I came home an he was energetic all the way! I could tell he was relieved of finally being able to breathe the easy route. The antibiotic is suppose to be taken once a day which I follow through but like I said, one dosage which started today he was healed in a jiffy! I recommend this vet. They are the reliable ones. What comes out of it also, is affordable to your pocket. So if you have health problems with any animal, including a mouse myself, they will solve the problem right then an there!(:

I hated the hospital visit not because the receptionists were rude or the place was a mess - because they were incredible and the hospital was very clean- but because Dr. Turgai showed little interest and concern for my dog. I told him all the symptoms my dog was having and all he could tell me is what it is not, yawn and look at his watch. Its not this, its not that is all I got, not once did he tell me if she is in pain and what I can do to make her more comfortable at home because he doesnt know whats ailing her. In order to get some answers I had to poke and prod him with questions until I finally asked if there is a treatment she can have. I could go on; however, I will not and just say that I was very very disappointed in the doctor/veterinarian.

My cat hadnt eaten in two days and she had a growth in the back of her mouth that I noticed last night. I called this morning and got a same day appointment. The check in was very quick (Im a new client) and I didnt wait very long at all to be seen. Both the nurse and Dr. Turgai were very caring about my cat and took the time to listen to my concerns. Dr. Turgai recommended a quick same day dental surgery, and his first estimate was too high for me to afford, but we were able to figure out what was strictly necessary for the procedure that I could afford. I will definitely be bringing my cat back, Im glad I chose this office to call this morning.

We have been going to Park Avenue Animal Hospital since it opened and our dogs have been seen by Dr. Rick Rubinstein for over 13 years now. The staff at this clinic are helpful and friendly and they really care about you and your pets. Dr. Rick and Dr. John are the best vets I have ever been to in the Central Florida area. They are knowledgeable, loving, kind and really care about the health of your pet. We travel an hour each way to bring our babies to Park Avenue and we would have it no other way. This is by far the best vet clinic in the area and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great vet. We love Park Avenue Animal Hospital!!!

FROM THE MINUTE WE ARRIVED HAWK AND I WERE TREATED WITH SUCH KINDNESS, THE ENTIRE STAFF AS WELL AS DR. TURGAI WELCOMED US IN SUCH A CARING MANOR. HAWK WAS TREATED FOR TRAUMA ( CCL) TO HIS LEFT REAR LEG . THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE FROM EXAM TO THE OPERATION AND RECOVERY WAS NOTHING LESS THEN THE BEST POSSIBLE CARE THAT WAS PROVIDED BY EACH AND EVERYONE OF THE STAFF AT APOPKA ANIMAL HOSPITAL. POST OPERATION WENT VERY WELL, WE WERE CONTACTED BY DR. TURGAI AND STAFF TO CHECK ON HAWKFEATHER, AND I AM PLEASED TO REPORT THAT HE HAS MADE A COMPLETE RECOVERY. OUR STAR RATING FOR APOPKA ANIMAL HOSPITAL IS ONE MILLION STARS!!!!
