I brought my very shy female cat into this place of business since it was the only one I have seen in my area (Solon). The staff was friendly and the business looked clean. I left my cat to their care and struggled to get through work worrying about my cat. When I came back to pick her up I didnt question the orders Philip Williams D.V.M. gave me. My cat is a skinny cat, shes 8 lbs wet so when they gave her Lactulose based on the weight of a 16 lbs I should have questioned it. The staff should change their weighing procedures. Instead of holding my cat down on the scale and adding some of the staff weight to it, weight the carrier when they first come in. Remove the animal and weigh the carrier again. Subtract and you have the weight of the animal. This is a better method than why was practiced back in the past. Even though it is really close to my house, I go to another place of business for pet care.

I have three cats and all of my animals are thoroughly examined and gently treated each time we go there. When my older cat was dying of auto-immune disease, the care she received was excellent and sensitive to the cats ability to tolerate necessary treatments. Each of my cats is individually cared-for and the vet is very knowledgeable and able to explain care easily and tell me what to do clearly and precisely. You can tell the vet, Dr. Williams, really cares about each animal, and Melanie, his receptionist, is very supportive and caring and takes time to make sure you understand everything Dr. Williams related. I have been going to this clinic for my animals for 14 years and wont change. Also, they open earlier in the morning than any other vet and when you have an emergency, that is REALLY IMPORTANT!

This office is FANTASTIC!!! I will never go anywhere else! I have 5 pets (2 with chronic, perpetual, health issues), and Dr. Williams has been BEYOND patient and brilliant in finding solutions to my pets problems. Dr. Williams is obviously VERY knowledgeable in current methods of animal treatment. He also always shares little tidbits of animal-facts that will help me understand my animals better. The staff is ALWAYS so professional, nice and helpful. I can always call and, if Dr. Williams is busy, I know I will receive a call back as soon as he is available. AND, they are a "one-stop-shop"; prescription food, medications, vaccinations, you name it, they do it! This vet was recommended to me, and I will recommend it to ANYONE and EVERYONE in the Solon/Chagrin Falls area!

I adore the staff at Companion Animal Hospital and started going to them on the suggestion of my dog groomer. I have not been disappointed! They are caring, well informed and take it upon themselves to involve me in every step of my animals care. A recent health scare with one of my dogs had me thinking the worse, but Dr. Phil took care of the situation, kept me well informed and now my dog is back to running and jumping. They are reasonably priced and their hours are extended to make it easier to work around different schedules. I cant recommend Companion Animal Hospital enough!

They have always been so compassionate and helpful! In addition to helping us keep our animals healthy, they have helped us with behavioral issues. As animals get older, of when they are very ill, they are careful that we know how to contact them in case of an emergency. They have also been honest with us. They are willing to do whatever testing we would like, but in the case of an animal no longer able to withstand treatment, they are honest enough to tell us investing in testing is not really necessary. I trust them and have found them to be competitive in their pricing.

I brought my 12 yr old cocker spaniel in for a emergency appointment. I am a truck driver from Chicago. Dr Williams got her in ASAP and spent over a hour on examination to try and figure her issues out. He was very understanding of my concerns and explained everything in depth. The following day, again he explained medications and pros/cons. I wish he could be my home town vet. Felt more comfortable with him than any of my other vets! Highly recommended! Reasonable pricing also!

I just love Dr. Phil and so do both of my cats, Smokey and Jack! I am deaf, Dr. Phil and his staff have worked with me to make sure that I understand what is wrong and how they are going to help my pets. I have never had a problem getting an appointment and then they take their time with you and your pet. I feel that my cats are in good hands with Dr. Phil. Thank you for being such a caring veterinarian and for having such a wonderful staff.

Great place. Have been with them for a lot of years. Ive had my hamsters and cats taking care of here. Boarded my hamsters there. Havent boarded cats there. Friendly, always greet you, feels like they really get to know you and your pets. Never had a problem making an appointment or getting in contact with them. Easy to get to off the 91 and Solon road. Wonderful place. Thank you so much! We miss you over here in California.

Companion Animal Hospital is the best! They dont just advertise compassion, they live by it. We have been involved in animal rescue for over 30 years and have worked with a multitude of various cases. The staff here is always loving, patient, and kind. There are people in this world truly gifted to work in their profession, and Dr. Phil exemplifies one who sincerely loves animals and has his heart in his work.

This is a great vet clinic. Dr. Williams and his staff are so kind and accommodating. I had a very challenging and cantankerous pet, and they, as opposed to other vets we had seen, were always so understanding and kind with her. Dr. Williams is also really knowledgeable and always takes time to explain things in detail. I definitely give them five stars.

We have gone to Companion Animal Hospital for about 4 years. You can tell they genuinely care about our animals. They are always so gentle and kind to them. Their hours are very convenient. I never feel like they are recommending unnecessary treatments, which I have experienced at other vets. I always recommend them to my friends and relatives.

Dr. WIlliams takes the time to listen to your concerns about your pet. He always answers my questions and never makes me feel rushed. I always leave the office confident that my dog is in good hands and that they honestly care about my dog. The front desk staff and assistants are very helpful and caring! I would recommend them hands down!!
