Wow. So, the old maxim that "timing is everything" seems to have played a prominent role in my even taking time (I rarely, if ever, go this route) to submit this post. Had it not been for another pet owner bringing this "issue" to my attention in conversation yesterday, when I went to PCCA for our cats annual vaccines, I likely would never have known that either I am inhabiting an alternate universe...or a couple of the posters here fall into one of two categories: a) A competing business "stooping low" (really low) to undermine this remarkable facility and Dr. Greer (who is SUPERB) or... b) Someone with a personal "ax to grind" (origins unknown) who is, clearly, committed to character assassination. In seeking to counter these "voices of dissent", I can speak from more than forty years of owning, loving and always seeking the best possible care I could find AND afford for my dogs and cats. These years, and these many pets loved and lost, have included time living in New England, the Upper and Lower Midwest, the "Left Coast" and, finally, Central Florida for almost seven years. During the "almost seven" years here, I have not been a PCCA client for the entirety. In fact, it is only the past 2.5 years during which I have had nothing less than the "great good fortune" of finding Dr. Greer and his staff and turning over the care of our two cats and one dog to this man. Thank God, we found him! I will spare the details in recounting how, exactly, my wife and I ultimately came to walk in the door at PCCA, but suffice it to say that had it not been for both an exceedingly costly - and, as time and Dr. Greers far less extensive and expensive treatment bore out - and COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY treatment protocol at another vet, we would never have entered PCCA. Again, "timing" and "fate" dictated that course, when we decided that there simply HAD to be a "better way" to have one of our cats bladder problems taken care of. There was. However, were it not for Dr. Greer - who did everything he could to save us money and our cat trauma (including an unneeded surgery, scheduled by the other veterinary facility) - we would never even have KNOWN about it. The man was both a "genius" and a "miracle worker", as far as we were concerned, and we will take that impression to the grave. THATS how strongly I/we feel about this man and his business! Consequently, reading the few assessments (including personal attacks on the young lady, Becky, mentioned in a couple of posts) that seem bent on groundlessly denigrating PCCA has REALLY stoked my "mission to correct" the record. As I said, I cannot even remember having taken a not inconsiderable amount of my personal time (at 11:00 PM no less!) to "cheer online" on behalf of any other business enterprise. This exception to that prevailing "rule" is, quite simply, an investment in seeing justice done by someone so deserving. I have NEVER had a more caring, more compassionate vet, and if young Becky has ever had a "cross word" to say to either a pet or an owner, then pigs really do fly!

If I could give this place zero stars I would!!! The first time I brought my dog in for daycare they tried to overcharge me thinking I wouldnt notice. The second time I brought him in one lady said he was good and had a lot of fun and was happy and not nervous like he was the last time. However, when another lady brought him out to me she told me that she thought he was "aggressive" (my dog was raised with cats and plays with dogs in the dog park a few times a week never once had an issue) so she decided he could not play with the other dogs. She also told me he jumped all over her yet he is trained and does not ever jump on anyone. She also told me she believed he was acting so "hyper" because he was extremely stressed and that he cried the entire day in his kennel. I asked her why the other lady told me he was happy and didnt cry at all, and she said she did not know why she said that. When I asked her who was lying she had no answer. I then called them when I got home to inform them I would not be taking my dog back there and if I needed to get a booster for an influenza shot they made me get which costed 40 dollars. The lady did not bother to ask why I would not be coming back or apologize after I said I had a bad experience. I think the reason no other dogs go to this daycare is because of how poorly trained the staff is (much less trained then my dog). If you care about your animal do not leave it with these people. I wish I read these other reviews before taking my dog there!!

I absolutely LOVE this place and the staff as well as Doctors are extremely sensitive to my needs. I own a JRT and I get freaked out at the smallest things and bring her in for examination because thats my baby, no matter how silly or small the matter is I present, they are ALWAYS professional and do a full examination to ensure me. Their quality in health care for my pet is superior, the staff knows my pet by name when I come in door with open arms greeting myself and running up to pet my little girl. They have been extremely accommodating wen when schedule is tight and try to squeeze me in. Their lab results and diagnostic tools are very detailed and every doctors breaks it down for a regular person like me to understand the fancy wording and meaning. I have been going here for years and will never go anywhere else. I cant give enough thanks for all the staff and doctors that have fixed my puppy when she has been sick or injured. The customer service is phenomenal . Where else am I going to go where they address me by name and give so much love and affection to my dog? I know petsmart didnt do that!!

This is by far the worst Vet clinic I have had to deal with. We took our dog there a couple weeks ago because he wasnt eating and had a bump developing on his face. Without running any tests or diagnostics, they said it was just an abscessed tooth, they gave us some medicine and sent him home. A couple days later his symptoms worsened, his face had swollen and he was puking. They refused to work some sort of payment plan for us to pay off the $1,000 procedure to remove his tooth, gave us more antibiotics and told us that he would be perfectly fine, just in discomfort, and to bring him back when we can afford the procedure. He still wouldnt eat. He was obviously deteriorating, and they still refused to do anything at all. Not even run tests to get a full idea of what the problem really was. I came home from work today to my furry baby, dead. Im beyond angry and heartbroken. These people didnt even care, the doctor was an ass and brushed off my mother and I when we expressed concern about his condition. DO NOT TAKE YOUR FURRY LOVED ONES HERE. HORRIBLE VET PRACTICE.

Never take your pet there if you love it! Lost a beautiful 6 yr yellow lab after taking him to Emergency vet Wednesday am then followed up with Pet Care Wednesday during office hrs. Hes been vimiting and not eating or drinking x 3 days. They send him home with antibiotics and nausea pills. Called again on Friday- still not eating and drinking, except a little water but still vomiting. They said it sounds like improvement as he took a little water- but didnt keep it down. Asked if I could bring him in Sar Am if not better. Yes. He died Sat Am. They never diagnosed him and asked me if I wanted autopsy to see what he died from! No I wanted diagnosis while he was alive. Gross negligence. A Healthy Lab doesnt just die at that age from a little stomach infection. There was a possibility he ingested bone and it showed on X-ray- never did they mention this could be life threatening and needed surgery.
