WORSE DOCTOR EVER! Jack Jawitz is a sick jack-a**. It was my first and LAST visit to that crack-pot. I went to see him to have some skin tag/wart-like bumps removed. He totally ignored my request to have them removed and instead asked me "What traumatic or tragic experience caused you to develop these skin tags?" I thought for a minute and said "Nothing, really" thinking it was a weird question because these bumps are very very common in middle-aged people. He INSISTED that "Something traumatic happened in your life between 5 and 10 years ago, what was it?" I thought some more, and for the lack of anything else to say, I shrugged my shoulders and offered up "Well, I lost both my parents during that time frame, my Dad about 8 years ago to Parkinsons Disease and my Mom about 5 years ago. She had several serious health issues." He then began a 30 minute bombardment of questions about the details surrounding the deaths of my parents....questions such as "Were you with them when they died? Who told you they died? Did you know they were gonna die before they died? Who told you they were gonna die?...how soon did you go to them after they died?...What kind of illnesses did you mom have? how exactly did she die?" He asked for ALL the death details of each parent and he then concluded that I have " unresolved issues" regarding the death of [my] parents." I kept assuring him that I do not have unresolved issues. I tried several times to get him back on the topic of my skin tags but he kept up the questions about my parents deaths. I repeated a little more sternly "I DO NOT HAVE UNRESOLVED ISSUES." By this time he saw how annoyed I was so he wrapped up the "examination" by prescribing me an ointment for EXZCEMA which I do not have....and then offered up this "prescription": "About 30 minutes before you go to sleep at night, I want you to close your eyes think about your parents dying....I want you to think about your Dad lying on the floor choking to death... and let me warn you that you will have nightmares ...but you need to uncover these unresolved issues. Come back and see me in a month" It was the most disturbing and bazaar conversation Ive EVER had with anybody. In my opinion this guy is SICK with mental illness...I think HE is the one with "unresolved issues" regarding death....like the drunk-driving car crash death of his son and the suicide of his girlfriend. Oh yeah, the office was dirty, smelly and gross.

The visit to this Dr. was the worse in my life. I never felt more humiliated as I felt when I visit him. I came to the office with my 13 year old boy who has a rush in his body, something that my daughter and me are suffering too and we dont know what it is. I visited him because a good friend of mine recommend him to me, even when I have my own dermatologist. From the beginning he was rude and left the door open and didnt bother to say hi when he enter the room. My sons body was exposed to anybody could pass the hall and see the room, he ignored me completely, when I was explaining to him that this is something is affecting not only my boy but 2 other members of the family he didnt pay attention of what I was saying and when I pushed him a little bit more for answers he told me he doesnt need to !!!!talk to me because I am not his patient and my 13 years old son is, and I have my own dermatologist!!!! I couldnt believe this, as if I dont have any rights and concerns about my boy and if he wasnt a minor. I dont know what kind of doctor doesnt speak with the parent of a minor and specially if he is an specialist trying to investigate what my son has. Very unprofessional!!

Office staff is horrible!!!! I had the worst experience at dr. J Jawits office! Receptionist are so disrespectful and told me it is not their job to keep track of my schedule when I asked if they call to confirm appoitments. I had to call at least 3 times to speak to billing person about authorization for treatment....she had no clue when she even send it to insurance company and told me who cares?!!! I do! I still did not hear from them about if treatment was approved or not! DR. Jawitz had 2 other male in office while examin me and never even introduced them or told me what their purpose was. He very insensitive and didnt hear me out at all. I would not suggest that office to anyone!

Dr. Jawitz has a very calm and caring manner which immediately put me at ease. My first procedure required many stitches on my face, of course, I was afraid there would be a scar, but Dr. Jawitz assured me that there would be no scarring, and he was absolutely right. The staff has been with him for many years, and it shows. From the moment I arrived, I was made comfortable, and treated with care. I have recommended him many times, and will continue to do so! You will not find a better dermatologist on the planet.

If you go there once, thats once too often. Office and exam rooms not clean or sterile. Does not maintain sterile conditions when doing "in-office" procedures that should be done as an out-patient at the hospital. I got an infection almost immediately following the removal of a melanoma, done in his office, because he would not prescribe antibiotics other than what I was allergic to. Run, do not walk, to another dermatologist!

Crack-pot of a doctor. He has a death obsession. More interested in the details of my parents deaths than anything else. He is very creepy and morbid. Stay away. There are TONS of better dermatologist that this creepy jack-a**. Dont let his years of experience fool you into thinking he is a decent professional. He is not! If I could give him ZERO stars here I would!

The man should be thrown out of practice. He refused to care for a wound that he created, which became infected. He still refused to tend to the matter. Eventually needed major surgery to correct the damage his lack of skill, care, and knowledge created. Keep far away from him based on my experience.

Thanks to Dr. Jack for allowing me great info to make the decision in choosing his office. Dr. Jack and his entire staff was very professional. Jack listened and understood my end goal with treatment. Would highly recommend him to anyone.
