I was referred to this clinic by my full service vet who was unavailable at the time my pet was in need of care. I had a brief visit with Dr. Taylor and received an estimate. Knowing I could receive the same services more cheaply elsewhere and that owing to how ill my boy was, that there were many large bills in my future, I notified the vet that I would be taking my boy to another clinic to perform the diagnostics. I paid the exam fee and left. My boy died a week later after $6,000 of round the clock care. I notified Pet First of his passing and inquired about a refund of the office visit fee, stating I understood if a refund was not possible. Just trying to recoup whatever I could. The office manager called me back well over a week later to decline the refund. Shortly thereafter, I received a letter in the mail from Melissa stating that "we will no longer provide services to you or any of your pets." This letter was incredibly insensitive and unnecessary and came with no further explanation. I requested a call from Dr. Taylor and received no return call for weeks. Melissa finally contacted me today and stated that she sent the letter because I chose to have the diagnostics performed elsewhere and because I had requested the refund. For those reasons, she decided I was "not a good fit for the clinic". I am beyond upset by the insensitivity shown by the office manager following the death of my pet. By the length of time that passed before they contacted me and by how many calls I had to make to receive any sort of explanation for the incredibly hurtful way they handled this situation. I still have not heard anything from Dr. Taylor and have no way of knowing if he is even aware of how grieving pet parents are being treated by his staff.

We have been taking both of our Boston Terriers to this establishment for a few years now. They have a terrific staff and a very caring Dr. He takes as much time as we need for him to answer any questions or find out about a particular situation. Just recently, we had to euthanize our beloved oldest Boston that weve had for over 10 years due to diabetes. The staff was so very nice to us and the Dr explained everything to us. We could not watch her suffer any more. We miss her tremendously, and will never stop loving her. A big thank you of gratitude to all concerned at this vets office. Your kindness was so appreciated and the sympathy card that we received in the mail was also greatly appreciated as well. Thank you very much to all!!

I had been using the same vet for about 15 years and had been thinking about changing. It got to a point where I felt like we were just a credit card to her. My last experience with her really pissed me off because she charged me full boat for an animal that wasnt even mine AND she only spent a couple of minutes with the animal. So that was absolutely my LAST visit. My mom told me about Dr. Taylor and his group so I went there awhile ago for the first time and I have to say Im hooked. Dr. _____ can go fly a kite, Dr. Taylor and his staff are WONDERFUL. So kind, friendly and compassionate, and they ALWAYS have time for my stupid questions, lol. Check them out, you cannot go wrong.

Pet First, and before that, Twin Oaks, has been our "other" family doctor for decades. We would not consider taking our animal family members anywhere else. Dr. Taylor and his staff are like family to us. If they accepted human patients, they would be our primary care providers. We have complete confidence in their care and know they always focus on what is best for our animals. Pet First reflects a combination of timely knowledge, compassion, and friendliness that is rare to find today. We cant recommend them highly enough.

All of the staff, headed by Dr. Taylor, are very kind and caring, in addition to being very knowledgable. Any human who is owned by a dog, cat, or other pet, should definitely drive him/her there -- you will be rewarded for being a good human servant and might even get an extra kiss or two. Seriously, this is the best veterinary practive I have taken an animal to and I would recommend their care for any pet that is loved by man (or woman). (p.s. they also will cut finger/toe nails -- a job most pet parents dread)

I have been coming to this vet since 1990. Every one of my dogs have received kind and professional care. Its like visiting family. The front desk personnel are very accommodating, thoughtful, and professional. Dr. Taylor, Charlie, and Mike are always smiling and have positive attitudes. I am adopting another female mini-schnauzer from the Florida Schnauzer Rescue Assoc. and Pet First will welcome her to their family shortly. I have nothing but positive comments regarding this group of professionals.

I began bringing my 8 year old boxer to Dr. Taylor within the past year and he has helped make him feel like a puppy again! Our pup was beginning to have trouble with arthritis and had a couple small lumps that showed up on him. Dr. Taylor was able to help us get him started on Adequan for his arthritis, and did an incredible job with removing his lumps, and getting his dental procedure done! Our Tyson is back to running and playing like a puppy again thanks to Dr. Taylor and his very helpful staff!

My family has used this office for decades, for cats and dogs. The staff is unfailingly friendly, and theyve guided us through regular checkups as well as a number of ailments, big and small. They keep in touch as needed for appointment reminders and follow-ups. A close friend whos also a veterinarian once reviewed their files when treating my parents young, ailing cat. My friend felt this office had gone above and beyond in ordering a thorough line of tests in an attempt to find a diagnosis.

I just wanted to express my gratitude for the wonderful loving care that Dr. Taylor and his entire staff provided to Sophie Josephine during her entire life but most especially during the last few months. No matter how busy Dr. Taylor was, he always found the time to call me regarding her care. The same goes for his entire staff. She was a wonderful blessing and her brother Ronnie and I miss her so very much. We will forever be in your debt. God Bless. E. Maxine Jossel

No words can describe just how amazing everyone in the office is,from Dr.Taylor to the techs and the office girls! They truly care for the pets and families they see. I would recommend them a 1000 times over. When your pet loves them and likes seeing them that speaks volumes, they have seen my dog Gypsy quiet a bit over the past month and a half and aside from being at the vet my girl absolutely loves them all! Im a firm believer that your pets intuition is everything.
