Dr. Martinez is an extremely wonderful doctor. My issues with them is their staff and the wait time. Today i had an appt for 1:30 i arrived and signed in at 1:23pm. My vitals were done at 2pm i was asked to wait in waitting rm again due to lack of available rooms. Waitted at about 2:30 or so im called in to a rm where i sat till 3:05 pm and was still waitting for dr martimez to been seen. My anxiety level rose beyond normal level i got up walked to front desk n told the young lady i had enough and was leaving. Without being seen. This has been an on going thing since ive been his pt. Never am seen at my appt time n waitting two to three hours before im finally seen. They need to get it together. Id hate to have to look for another pulmonary dr. Staff n dr need to ne more prompt to pts with appts. N also inform waitting pt of emergencies that may arise as we wait. Which the staff should alert the pts. Wait time is rediculious n needs to be taken care of. Here i am three mnths later n still none has called me to rescheduled a new appt. I call n get the answering machine i leave my detailed message n number and still they fail to call. Horriable n irresponsible staff.

I made an appointment with this place and they told me to come in on Wednesday. When I got there they said my appointment was on on the following Wednesday. Okay, maybe I got it wrong. So I took the paperwork with me and I filled it out and returned today (Wednesday) So, I get there and my appointment was at 9:15am I signed in at 9:16am. So waited and waited and then I was call up at 9:50. Spanish looking lady at front desk asked me what time I got there. I said 9:16. She was shaking her head no. She said I was late. I said thought my appointment was at 9:15am. She didnt respond, so I asked what time was my appointment she said 9:15. I said I signed in and 9:16 and I already filled out paperwork. Asked her was there a problem....she just said let me have your DL with an attitude, I said that okay and left. This is the 2nd time speaking to this lady and both times had a bad attitude. Nothing against the Dr. But his front lady had a bad attitude.

Professional. Bilingual (speaks spanish fluently) Knowledgeable and patient. Dr Martinez explains everything clearly including treatment options, tests and health complications. I highly recommend Dr Rafael Martinez.
