First off I live in SC, visiting family for two weeks. And I went there Monday, and after waiting for 2 1/2 hours with my almost 11 month old son who had a runny nose, cough, and wheezing. They finally saw my son. They took my sons levels, or tried to, not able to very well. Listened to his lungs, took his temperature, weighed him. When they were done the doctor said his lungs sound good, didnt like his level that was supposed to be around 70 to 100. His was first 69 and then 63 the next time they tried to do it. The doctor said that his level is not really where he would like it and that they could do an X-ray to make sure he might not have pneumonia, but he said since it was close to being ok that it would be fine to not do one and just see how he does when we go home. So he diagnosed him with rsv but it wasnt a definite to where he could give me anything to help him. So they said he had a cold. So they recommended steam from a shower and a cold mist humidifier. Well, yesterday he was wheezing and so I took him nightlight urgent care, they immediately tested him for rsv, which is negative, the doctor couldnt hear his lungs very well because they were tight and not open. So we did a nebulizer twice and then they gave him some medicine to help open his airways. After just doing that he sounded a lot better. They did an X-ray to make sure it couldnt be pneumonia. That was good just a light mark but since he doesnt have any other symptoms he should be fine. So he has bronchiolitis. He is doing the nebulizer for a week and some medicine to help with his airways. And I am going back today just to make sure he is getting better and not worse. Now may I ask why didnt centra care do the same thing? Ot at least test for anything?? They were not equipped to take care of my son and to figure out what was going on with him. Because if I didnt take him somewhere else he could have gotten worst or maybe have gotten pneumonia. Not happy at all! At least give me my money back for not helping me at all! And yet your website says you help adults and children.

I am very disappointed with my experience at Centra care recently. I was called by my sons (who is 15months) school to pick him up on Wednesday because he had a fever. I called his pediatrician they were booked and had no appointments available. My only other option to get him seen was going to Centra care. I called at noon & made a no wait reservation for 2:50. My husband took him because I was at work. He waited 2 hours to be seen!! This was with a no wait reservation!! My son had a fever & had, had 1 episode of diarrhea that day. After checking him out and saying he didnt have the flu or any sign of an ear infection. & that they wanted me to follow up with his pediatrician before the weekend. Why did I waste 2 hours waiting to be seen for them to tell me there is nothing wrong oh maybe he has a diarrhea virus". I had never even heard of a diarrhea virus! & that I needed to follow up with his pediatrician (this kinda told me they had no idea what they were doing so to be safe I should see his ped. before the weekend). Well he ran a fever all day yesterday & I was still unable to get him into his ped. when I did finally get him in today. He had a really bad ear infection. She said it looked horrible. poor baby. I dont understand how they didnt catch this at centra care they checked his ears!!!!!! Did this horrible ear infection develop over night?? I dont think so! My friend who is a nurse said it isnt hard to tell if some one has an ear infection. So i dont know what kind of doctors they have working there. But I am beyond upset. And I feel like a horrible mom that my baby had an ear infection this bad. Because Centra Care did catch it! I wasted time & money at centra care for nothing! Next time if needed I will be picking a new walk-in clinic! Dont go to centra care!

Went into centra care for splotches on my tonsils. They prescribed me antibiotics. The antibiotics like with most women gave me a yeast infection. I called to see if they would call me in one of the infamous yeast be gone pills because the over the counter stuff hasnt taken care of the problem. Instead of calling me one in. They stated in not so many words that I pretty much have a STD. I am a mom of two, Ive been with the same man for years. I get yearly tests done and my man just had all his done last month when he had his thyroid checked. Now how would I have gotten said STD? From a park bench? The reason for the yeast be gone pills are for WHEN the over the COUNTER stuff DOESNT WORK!!! Just like when over the counter cough stuff doesnt work they prescribe you those pearl things, or if Tylenol doesnt work they give u some narcotic. Basically this man wants me to come in and spread my legs so he can stare and make me uncomfortable so he can make a dollar on diagnosing me with something he already knows I have. I mean come on he and his nurse warned me when I was leaving and told me to eat yogurt. Which btw I have been. These people are only out to make money. I have been many times and this is just the last straw for me. How humiliating. Thanks for that guys.

When your sick and dont feel good. You want someone who treats you gently. If you want to be treated like crap when your sick go here to Clermont centra care. When you first walk in you will be greater by 2 African americans women. The one with the afro has the biggest attatuide . She will treat you as if you ebola, she will shout at you by telling you to put the mask on. I am alergeric to the mask so I told her I am using napkin to cough in , she replied back by saying I need to wait outside the office!, Here I am with 100+fever really sick feeling down and I got this big headed lady shouting and insulating me and kicking me ouy. So I ask them about waiting times she said an hour and half I got 3 people ahead me so I wait wait its been two hours and 5 people came in and now one came out. U think what they do is place those people in rooms to wait another hour or so before seeing by doctor. I final got feadup. So I left and went to a one minute clinic by CVS . I didnt even have to wait 1 min!. The doctor at CVS was very professional and it was quick and price was $0 dollars! Compare to centra care who wanted $180 up front with my insurance!!!. Stay away from this place its hell.

Always a long wait even when you have an appt. front desk woman is always short with you. She also doesnt listen as I have now three times had issues with the information that gets put into the system even after spelling it out or verifying it for her. She just prefers not to listen. Doctor insinuated that I was lying about not being pregnant (would interact with medication) even after I explained I was on a steroid treatment that inhibits fertility AND requires a pregnancy test each month in order to get. Then after making a huge deal about suggesting I go through medicated eye drops, doxycycline antibiotic and rabies treatment (due to a mild corneal abrasion from my indoor only kitten) they dont even call in the prescriptions! Glad I spent 2 hrs trying to get looked at all for nothing. The place is a disgrace. I actively avoid going there and would have today if I had had any other option. They should be shut down. The one saving grace was the nurse that checked me in (terry). She was the only one with both a smile on her face and a brain in her head. If you are going here make sure shes working.
