Well no doubt a five star facility, especially if you use them as a urgent care facility as well, with in house labs, exray etc. They knock it out o.f the park......unfortunate we have gone to your real urgent care facilities just to be missed diagnosed, once my wife had food poisoning, the other diagnosed it as a flu, which did not get better, my wife got home and continued to vomit,so went to Advance as I new they did boodwork, within 15 min of arriving they took blood and urine and sure enough, she had food poisoning, needless to say they have were right on track with the diagnosis and not missed diagnosis of (urgent care), my wife may not be here today, kudos to Cinder Brown who swiftly had her diagnosed and back on her feet, what most ppl dont realize is that with the ability to take blood and it be analyzed in house it tells a better story of whats going on,it takes the missing diagnosis out of the picture as well as the shotty guessing game so many other facilities perform, So next time you are in that awfully sick, area dont waste your time with other facilities, it may cost you way more than a co payment, which for some reason is much higher at normal urgent care facilities, not advanced were most were anywhere from 45-65 bucks, for some reason with blood and urine, it was only 20 bucks at advance, bottom line you want to be seen by people who care, dont go to the rest but instead head to the best (ADVANCED MEDICAL CENTER :)

Let me state up front that Advanced Medical Center (AMC) is fine for emergency situations, but avoid using any of the doctors as your primary care physician. Although I had received excellent care from AMC in the past, I had a very unprofessional view of their center in late August. In early July, I had called to schedule my annual exam with Dr. DuPont; at that time, I was told that the exam would be in two parts on the same day in August. Since I dread certain aspects of the annual exam, I slept very poorly, only to be told when I arrived that they could not perform the second part of my exam on the same day; in fact, the earliest they could schedule it would be in October (!). So, I have to wait nearly 3 months from the date I originally tried to schedule. In addition, I was fasting and was drinking water all morning, as instructed, but was kept waiting for over 45 minutes from the time of my original appointment at 10 a.m., which defeats the purpose of setting an appointment. So, I was in discomfort for quite awhile in the waiting room, and I was not even provided with the opportunity to see the doctor during the two hours I was at AMC; apparently, I will not see her until October. One final note: I emailed AMC with the full details of my visit, noting my specific complaints, and have not heard a word from them (this was over 2 weeks ago)- so much for their so-called interest in patient care.

This is the most unorganized office Ive ever been to in my life. I went in this morning for a routine college physical. Not only did they fail to carry out half the procedures (only my height, weight, vision, and hearing were examined during my two-hour visit), they also had no records of my immunizations - and Ive been a patient with them for almost 8 years. (This is also not the first time theyve failed to find my records.) They spent almost an hour trying to find my records online, and never thought to check my paper chart - probably because they didnt have it on hand (which violates more than one federal law). In the end, they decided to "take my word" for which shots Ive had. Im 19 years old. I am not a reliable source of information for these things. Its the DOCTORS responsibility to have that information on file. The receptionist is the dumbest woman Ive met in a long time. She refused to bill my insurance for the appointment and forced me to pay out of pocket because when I walked in the door I supposedly told her I didnt mind paying cash. This is not true. When I came in I showed her my insurance card and asked her to bill Blue Cross for the visit. She denied all of that, so now Im out $75 for five minutes with a nurse and an hour and a half of waiting for someone to find my records. One out of five, only because I cant give anything lower.

I was amused but skeptical of the many negative reviews for this practice. (Similarly reaction to the 5-star glowing ones. Over 20 reviews there should be a fairly even spread; this place runs hot or cold!) We are moving to the area so I called to get a first-hand experience. Over the course of 9.5 minutes I had to listen to a hard-sell message assuring me that my call was important, that they are people people and that I was going to be in the best of hands. After many messages interspersed by hopeful rings -- only to have those hopes dashed by more messages -- a nurse came on the line. (Wow, this is nice. Not a rude operator as described... but a nurse!). A rude nurse. She wanted no more to do with me than Obama does with the Constitution. I asked to speak to an office manager as I wanted to understand (1) if waiting almost 10 minutes to speak to someone is typical ("This is a very busy office," the rude nurse explained) and (b) if they were aware of the criticisms and if they were founded or not and if they were what theyve done about it. As rude nurse transferred me to an operations manager (Im hoping it is a business operations manager, not an ER operations manager), I hear her mutter "....pain in the ass..." I think she was talking about me. I never talked with the ops manager; altho I left a message when I heard the beep.

I had a physical done and stool specimens. This place is very unorganized and I felt I had to keep a log of things that needed to be done to remind the nurse what to do, because they forgot and thought it was done. I was correct in my feeling of insecurity. They do not cross reference anything and obviously a lack of communications skills amongst each other. I feel unsafe practices with regard to drawing blood and cross contamination, I brought up a list of complaints to the male office manager there, I cant remember his name, but he basically dismissed any concern I had. So it is a hopeless case in talking with the nurses. I dont even want to go into my other complaints with this place. The only good things about this place are the hours and Dr. Cindy Brown, I also like the progressive but still feel that paper should be utilized a little more or their computer systems should not be questionable, sometimes there are just certain circumstances where paper is still needed. Even right now, I am calling there, it has already been 20 mins constant ringing toggling in between an announcement of 5 mins that comes on, why? Do you think I should text them for a quicker response?
