In February My mother was admitted to Heart of florida With sever head pain, confusion, and dizzyness. After only two x-rays and one MRI My mother was discharged, with The physician stating that there was nothing they could do for her here, and that she was wasting resources. two days later I went to Dr. Phillips hospital (Who Mind you, treated My mother like she was a queen) where my mother had a stroke. The nuerologist at Dr. Phillips informed us that my mother had a level 2 stroke, and that if she had been having any issues the last couple of days. Upon giving the doctor information that my mother had been seen at Heart of Florida and they had told her nothing was wrong, he requested to see the scans and Labwork they Had taken from my mom during her stay at Heart(less) of Florida, He was shocked o see hat on the scans there were obvious signs of a clot and a potential for stroke to occur. AND THEY SENT MY MOTHER HOME SAYING SHE WAS A WASTE OF RESOURCES, when they could have prevented her stroke and saved her from the brain damage that she now has, thankfully she was at an actually good hospital with Dr. Phillips and they saved my Mothers Life. Recently we discovered my mother Has A condition called vasculitis, she is being treated at the Mayo clinic in Jacksonville. Recently we had to take my mother via ambulance to Heart(less) of Florida, even though we protested against it due to her treatment during her last stay, We had no other choice as her Blood pressure was only 48/60. when we got to the hospital, not only did they not put my mother in a room that is Meant for patients undergoing chemo, but all of the staff that saw her was not wearing any masks. When my mother was complaining that she needed assistance to use the restroom there was not a single nurse or member of staff to help me get her to the restroom. they also Proceeded to not tell any staff tha she has a clotting disorder and so they stuck a needle in a diabetic Chemo patients foot, and didnt even bother to cap it, so I had to clean it off every time she had to get up. The cherry on top of the whole god awful situation, and the reason why I will make Damn sure I tell ANY PERSON WHO WILL LISTEN, if you love your family and you want them to be Cared for, properly, and without judgment, DO NOT TAKE THEM TO HEART(LESS) OF FLORIDA. Afer but only 2 days, a DR by the name of Dr.Kundlas, Told my mother that "Your being discharged" "There is nothing we can do for you hear" "You are over using hospital resources" My mother who has a brain illness mind you, had not seen a neurologist the whole time she was there, and upon requesting that she see one before she is Let go "Oh he cant do anything for you either" Before My mother left, the Neurologist by the name of DR. Heiman, stopped by my mothers room and asked her why she was being discharged, the Doctor needless to say was Livid that not only was my mother being released before he had a chance to see her, but that he was being undermined and question by another physician who does not specialize in his field. Thankfully, and even though he was not going to be paid for his service he saw my mother before she was released, and took great care of her. Legal Action is being taken against this Joke of a Hospital, I will Make damn sure that these people cant screw with anyone elses lives.

(My Mothers Experience) I went to the ER last night on 09/26/2015 not sure about the time that I arrived because of how sick I was. I suffer from fibromyalgia and migraines. My body was aching all over in my joints and muscles. I had a headache, my throat and chest was hurting and I could barely breath. When I arrived to the hospital I was pleading and asking for help. As one of my family members brought me into the ER the nurses asked what was wrong. I could barely talk due to the pain but I was able to briefly tell what was wrong. After telling them I could hear the doctors and nurses talking about me saying she doesnt act like a person with fibromyalgia she acts like someone who is on drugs. I informed them that I dont do drugs and never have. I dont smoke nor do I drink. I let them know that I did not appreciate them saying that about me. I told my family to take me to another hospital because no patient should be treated this way. After not leaving I finally allowed the doctors and nurses to help me. I told them that after the blood work and urine test comes back showing that I am not that type of person they should apologize to me. After being there for a couple of hours the test results came back showing there were no drugs in my system. The doctor came in later and let me know that he couldnt find anything wrong with me. I then told the doctor that he and the nurses owe me an apology for accusing me of being on drugs. He told me that he was not going to apologize to me because I acted like a gun went off in the room and someone who was on drugs. I then told him that they shouldnt treat anyone like that when Im in a wheel chair asking for help. He then told me that I act like something is wrong with me Im crazy in my head. I was upset and let him and the nurses know exactly how I felt because they hurt my feelings saying what they said about me. I dont feel as though anyone should be treated like this. I had one male nurse who was very nice and treated me better than the other 6 to 8 nurses that were around my bed talking about me. The doctor that waited on me was a very nasty person and the nurses were on his side agree with him and the nasty thing that were done to me. Wen I told him I did not like what they did to me he threatened to get security on me. I told him I did not care that I will be talking to someone higher up in the company about my experience. I feel as though none of theme should be in that field of work. Also the doctor told me to never come back to that hospital and I told him I wont ever again I will go to another hospital. I hope other people read these comments so that they can see how this hospital treats people. No one should be treated this way and I will continue speaking with someone higher and higher until something is done about this. Sincerely yours P. J

please can you guys put, poor-worst? i being in this hospital and because is the closest to my residence and i am a sole parent i had not choice but to go there when i get sick, i was treated as a drug sicker because i had abdominal pain, i am veteran, and i had several abdominal surgery only thing i had left is liver and stomach and just a portion of my pancreas that regulate my insulin, so i was laying in bed with an agony pain and because i drive my self i was denied medication but they did run a bunch of test comeback saying "YOU HAD NOTHING SURGICAL" i went for them to easy up my pain to to make a surgery... now i ask to talk to my doctor instead i got the most RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL P.A. (PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT) look a like they own the place because they treat patient like garbage, i told PA FRANK to please put your self in my situation and not be the almighty untouchable dr with not capabilities to feel empathy for the persons he supposed to care about it, after 3 hours in pain he told me that i have to be admitted for them to be able to easy my pain, he say it in a way that make me feel very low and i got so upset that i ripe off my IV and told him couple trues following day i when and complaint to the office with not sleep they do nothing, so i when to ORLANDO VA MEDICAL CENTER to my regular physician and she was in shock because i had onset pancreatitis and then i received a letter from my doctor saying that she was sorry to refer me to that hospital, now i got to a point that i refuse to be take care medically and i instruct my family "not to take me ever to that hospital" i didnt ask for the head of frank i ask a formal apology, still have the video that proof what i am talking about, ah they forgot the apology letter but still they send a big fat bill! my rate to this hospital is poor to worst nightmare ever, is not the first time i had problem in this hospital before i had a nurse ganging on me when she was told to put a catheter because i am not anatomical equal, and get all kind of drug test because i react badly to a medication, so my answer is i think outside the box and this hospital is off chart the WORST EVER.
