Im not a regular at this practice, but dont want to be. Whether they are wonderful or not I will never really know but they put a bad initial taste in my mouth. I adopted a kitten from the Broward County Animal Care and Adoptions 10 days ago, since I adopted I have 14 days to have a free vet visit for minor things such as a Upper Respiratory Infection..which my kitten just started showing signs of 2 days ago. I called this office today and to schedule an appointment, I explained to them my situation and they told me they were booked till Tuesday (COINCIDENTALLY THE 15th day I had my cat) The woman, in a very unconcerned voice, then proceeded to tell me that they are VERY strict about their 14 day policy. I did not get to choose what day my poor kitten started showing signs of illness. I am a young mother and work full time, unfortunately I cant leave work early to bring my kitten to a vets office 25 minutes away on any given day. To me, it sounds like this practice is more concerned about the money being put in their pockets then helping our pets. I called another practice that is also associated with the shelter and they said "Dont you worry about the 14 days, just bring him in and well help you out." The man on the phone spoke to me for 10 minutes giving a lot of information about what I can do to help my cat in the mean time. I will not be bringing my business to this office, I will be taking my beloved 6 dogs and cats else where.

This place is AMAZING! Dr. Meg and her staff are incredible! After searching South Florida for an animal hospital to care for my dogs, a friend highly recommended Dr.Meg Formoso at Nova Animal Hospital. I can honestly say that this is the place to bring your babies; the entire staff is wonderful! They are always on time, greet you by name and do not "penny, nickel and dime you to death." They are caring, compassionate and serious about customer service. You are NEVER treated like a number and they take the time to develop a real relationship with their clients and patients. I have two dogs,Chow Chows,one of which is a rescue. Atticus had a rough life prior to becoming a part of my family; he didnt like going to the vet. Dr. Meg and her staff go above and beyond at each appointment to make sure he is comfortable before they begin any treatment or exam. Now he wags his tail when we walk in the at Nova Animal Hospital! Many thanks to Dr. Meg and the rest of her incredible team!

The staff are super nice and helpful. Ive been bring my dogs here for the past 3 years and never had a bad experience. Dr Formoso (the lead vet and owner) is great and very knowledgeable as well as the rest of her staff. Love coming here and so do my dogs. They are usually very good at accommodating if youre pet is having a problem. I trust them with handling my dogs because they treat them as though they were their own pets.

Adopted an adult cat via Broward County Animal Shelter, and forgot to take him in for his free checkup. Decided since they were on the list already that Id give them a try. Had no issues reaching them, setting up the appointment and them answering my questions. Unlike a chain (Banfield) you can tell this business belongs to someone, so theres a care level there you dont get in a lot of places. Dont overlook it.

Surpassed my expectations. The receptionist was very nice and when I arrived I didnt have to wait long to see the vet. ALL of the staff were very gentle with my dog. Also, they are very honest and I left relieved that I didnt have to pay an arm and a leg for the visit. I finally found a veterinary clinic I like and trust! UPDATE: Had to put my sweet dog down and they were truly kind and empathetic <3

I loved my experience! Everyone was so nice and gentle with my boxer puppy. Great service. Great vet!!! Loved her. I felt that the exam was thorough and the treatment for my puppys cold helped him get better quickly and she was willing to change my prescription without judgement because of side effects he had when he was on Trifexis for heart worm prevention.

Absolutely by far without a doubt or any comparison Dr. Megan Formoso is the best veterinarian Ive ever used, personal care like it was her own pet every time. Extremely knowledgeable about all types of pets, once took a hedgehog there and she knew exactly what to do I was very impressed. I love this place I wouldnt go anywhere else!

The staff here is super pleasant, and the doctors are wonderful. Nothing bad to report in any way, shape, or form. Dr. Formoso is our vet, and she is absolutely everything you would want your vet to be; kind, caring, professional, knowledgable, and extremely patient in terms of explaining to clients. Cant go wrong here at all.

have been bringing our Dogs to them for 20 years, and they are great vets in an office that has retained the small office personalized care and attention to detail. They always explain everything to us in great detail to make sure we understand what we need to do when we get home with the patient.
