DO NOT GO TO FLORIDA HOSPITAL DELAND AND SEE Ranier Chan!!! Dr. Ranier Chan is a bold face liar!!!! He took over for my Dr. of almost 10 years, Dr. Schlapper. Dr, Chan treated me for high blood pressure, chronic anxiety and depression. I did a drug test for him and it was negative. Then because he didnt like a letter I wrote to him showing how he blamed me for something that his nurse did, he lied to me for 2 months and said that my drug test was positive for Amphetamines! He knew good and well he was lying to me! This conflicted even more unnecessary stress and anxiety on me for no reason! DR. RANIER CHAN IS A LIAR!!!! I gave the letter I wrote to him along with everything that happened to the Risk management and it was passed to the hospital Director. I got one phone call from the director. Thats it!!! I guess none of them care. I guess I will choose one of the 3 lawyers willing to take the case and sue the hell out of them! Their lack of concern for me has left me no choice. DO NOT GO TO DR. CHAN AT FLORIDA HOSPITAL DELAND! HES A LIAR!!!!! Donna Hitchner

Went here with symptom of potential heart attack, blood pressure much higher than usual. Shooting pain in left arm and some chest pain. They acted like I was just there to get pain meds. No, I actually was just concerned that something was seriously wrong. They didnt do a single test. No EKG, absolutely nothing. Gave me a muscle relaxer and sent me on my way. Im still having chest pain and the pain in my left arm. Ive already told my family that if I die of heart attack, they are to sue the pants off these guys. I reiterated at least three times that I was concerned about my heart. I have really high Fibrinogen numbers, like 8 times normal and a family history of death from blood clots. Told them, no one listened to me. I live ten minutes from this hospital. Had to keep pulling over to the side of the road, took me 45 minutes to get there as the pain was so intense. If you can make it to a different hospital, go to a different hospital. No one is listening at this one.

5 Star Care and Service all the way! My recent stay (3/2016) began in the E.R. and finished in the cardiac PCU. I have to say, EVERY person, beginning with the young Lady at the E.R. desk, to the gentleman who wheeled me out to my ride in the parking lot when I was finished, were so Kind, Caring and Professional it almost seemed surreal. The Nursing Staff in the PCU... Wow! I hope my kids grow up to be like them! The Dr.s, Nurses, Lab Techs, Blood-work and Vitals Staff, Environmental (Housekeeping), Nutritionists, Insurance Assistants and Affiliate Advisers (Pharmacy / Dr. Follow Up) were all Totally Awesome! Every person that interacted with me left me with the solid impression they genuinely cared about me and my Health. Florida Hospital, in my opinion, just raised the bar for Care and Caring. Thank you so much, to them.

Im writing this review on the Florida Hospital Deland Victoria Park Imaging Center. Its a nice, new, clean facility, and I was actually excited to go there. Upon arrival they asked the standard insurance questions, etc, etc, etc. After filling out the forms, I was told my standard abdominal ultrasound was going to cost about $600. This is a very basic, non-invasive test that takes about fifteen minutes. I decided to leave, and Im glad I did. A few phone calls later to other imaging centers, and I got the same test done at Orange City Imaging for $150. I understand each business has different overhead costs, but at the end of the day....A RIP OFF, IS A RIP OFF!!!

Went in with female heart attack symptoms- radiating pain in left arm, back and chest. Got a pregnancy test, a muscle relaxer and that was it. Havent been able to sleep in over 57 hours because of the pain. Was mostly worried that I was having a heart issue or had done something serious to my back. No EKG, no xrays, no attempts at diagnostics whatsoever. If you are worried that you are having a heart attack, you will not get tested if you are showing female symptoms of heart attack. Plan on acting out the Hollywood style male heart attack if you need treatment locally. Otherwise, just drive to the Sanford hospital which is what the rest of my family does.

Best care we have ever received. Not only were they very thorough and knowledgeable, but they go above and beyond to provide the best care possible. Everyone was great from the ER doctors to the surgeon and nursing staff. We drove all the way from Deltona because Fish Memorial in Orange City is the worst hospital we have ever been to and we could have been happier. If Fish Memorial is your closest hospital, please take the extra time and drive to Deland for real care. Hopefully we never need it again, but if we do, Deland is the place we will go.

Awful hospital .Only think of collecting money .They lied and said we owed them money ,I could not even write here what they did and they pretend to be a Christian Hospital .We owe them nothing ,they harass us constantly . They send dme round blocks to sort this out with them but MONEY& Greed is their end game .We are seniors and have little money and owe them nothing ,Please read the bible dear hospital as you could learn a lot from how Jesus treated people you behave more like the dark person !!!!!!!

HORRIBLE SILENCE! I CAME HERE WITH A BlOOD CLOT IN MY RIGHT LUNG, IN A SCKLE CELL CRISIS, COULDNT KEEP FOOD DOWN, AND ALMOST EVERY NURSE AND DOCTOR I HAD TREATED ME LIKE A CHILD AND LITERALLY WOULDNT LISTEN TO A DAMN THING I SAID!!! CALLED ME A 3 YEAR OLD AND IMMATURE, CUT ME OFF MID SENTENCE TO EXPLAIN THEIR CASE TO THE THE DOC AND THE DOC WOULD BELIEVE THE NURSES BEFORE ME. HORRIBLE HOSPITAL!! ID RATHER MAKE A 5.000 HOUR DRIVE TO THE NEAREST HOSPITAL BEST HOSPITAL THAT TO EVER GO THERE AGAIN!!!!??

worst hospital in deland! went for a very bad sore throat. let me go with some prescription in under 30 min!! DIDNT CHECK ME OR ANYTHING! couple days later my whole left side of my neck was swollen!! I ended up having mono. I LITERALLY HAD TO DRIVE MYSELF TO DAYTONA HOSPITAL!! where I was admitted for 3 days because I got so bad TO WHERE MY THROAT WAS CLOSING. Sorry DeLand but your hospital sucks with treating its patients. Please hire better nurses and doctors. very poor service.

Worked there for 3 weeks and quit!!! Ppl are fake not friendly. As far as having services there its questionable. Did not want to be a part of any potential incidents. You will see good and bad reviews, you determine your care. The way I look at it, if all went well "You where lucky" if not "it doesnt surprise me" I dont believe its all Florida Hospitals just that one. Good Luck!
