Unfortunately, I couldnt make it through the incompetent office assistant, Liz, who insisted that my insurance required a referral even though I told her they have never required one. She even told me she spoke with my insurance company and a referral was required,so I was turned away without seeing the doctor even though I had an appointment. When I called the insurance provider, I was told no referral was necessary and they had no record of any call from Liz or anyone in that office. -JJ, MD

On time appointments, listens and takes time to explain procedures. Computerized record keeping. Uses ZocDoc for making appointments. ZocDoc sends e-mail reminder and then a SMS message on phone. Very handy. ZocDoc is also great for first time patients as you can fill out your medical information online before going to the office.
