Regresó a Puerto Rico transformado.

I thank God so much for leading me to this place. All of the staff is great and really dedicated to help you rise from what ever place you may have fallen into. They really care for you and nurture you so you can develop your potential in different aspects of your life, they focus more on the spiritual aspect which is to me the most important one of all given that through spirituality other aspects of your life fall into place by default. The second most important element they focus on is education. Education on the effects and consequences of drugs and alcohol in your life in all aspects, emotional, physical, spiritual, financial and in you relationship with others. To me this was so important because I was able to see all of the harm that I had done to my self in all of these aspects through drug abuse, and therefore made the decision and committed myself to never doing it again and to this day I dont even think on doing it again and if someone around me so even mentions drugs I have the information, the education and my testimony on what drugs do, not only to keep myself on the path but also to help others change theirs so they can also live a drug free life. Also education on how to deal with difficult moments, problems and situations that might lead you back down that bad road. The third thing the focus on is your physic, they have an excellent program that includes exercises and the assistance of a personal trainer that will guide you and give you tips on what to do to get the desired results, this is really important in recovery because exercising is something that you need to naturally feel good instead of wanting or needing a substance in order to feel good. It also cleanses your system better and faster. When I got out of the program everyone kept telling me how good I looked because I had put on some muscle on my time in the program, this also make you feel good and inspires you to keep exercising and staying healthy. This program is an +A, what I liked about it the most is that the staff is a group of God loving leaders that are really committed to help you out of love, to them its not a job, its their mission in life, to help you rise and leave drugs and alcohol behind. It is mostly spiritual, very educational, and completely transforming. I strongly recommend this program to all those submerged in the drug world. Give yourself the chance to change your life, they will help you do it, if you could do it alone you already wouldve. Oh and the facilities have a basketball court #love.

The House of Freedom, a drug and alcohol treatment facility (rehab facility) in Kissimmee, Florida, near Orlando, Florida, does not appear to be an ethical organization. My family took a family member here in a time of crisis for our family. As most people I am sure, we did not know where to turn or what to do in an addiction crisis. Unfortunately, the leaders of House of Freedom took advantage of that fact. They charged us for a 30 day treatment program on a credit card -- although our family member checked out after just 48 hours treatment. Instead of being charged for 2 days we were charged for 30 days. When we contacted House of Freedom to inquire about the $7400 credit card charge, the only response we got was from an administrative assistant who said sorry thats the policy. When we asked to speak to someone in finance or management they begin ignoring our calls and emails. After 2 weeks and 20+ emails and calls we never got the courtesy of a response from anyone in management or leadership. We feel we were ripped off or scammed in a time of family crisis -- but the most frustrating part was the complete lack of respect or willingness to discuss the matter. This organization is some how affiliated with a church or perhaps religious organization. They have a religious theme, but to us that just feels like a cover to raise money and take advantage of people in a time of need. All I wanted was to get some type of refund for their over-charge. They said it was policy but did not provide the policy. Even if it is policy it seems highly unethical for an organization claiming to help people in time of crisis There is no ethical reason for these outrageous charges. There is no ethical reason not to give some type of refundsettlement. I just hope no other family in crisis has to experience this. (Though it appears others may have gotten a similar poor treatment.) Pastora Olga Morales is the leader of House of Freedom.
