Try County Psychiatric Associates, 101 E Miller St. Orlando, FL 32806 My service was unprofessional and the office staff’s treatment of patients was unprecedented not only mental health but for any physicians office. I initially saw the nurse practitioner last week and have had a follow up appt. scheduled for today since then. I called to confirm it 04/12/17 (yesterday) and it was confirmed but the office has yet to receive my medical records. (I had called both offices each day this week and my primary has yet to receive any requests but would be happy to send immediately when they do.) The office manager at the front desk (Via-as she told me on the phone) is the one who has now told me that I am no longer on the schedule and that she still has not received any records. I asked her if she looked up the fax number or tried to call them and she tells me that she has not. I told the two ladies the week before during my visit on 04/06/17 that I only had my doctors main number and to call them for records. She refused however and acted as if it wasnt even her job to do so. I was told yesterday that I had to take this appt. as the doctor and nurse petitioner were gone for most of the next month. Today, 04/13/17 however, Im told by Via that she could get me in next week, but I was not scheduled for today. When I tried to communicate with her she raised her voice and hung on me. I have left two messages now with the office and has to receive any call back. 11:30am 04/13/17. The office is supposedly open from 11-6pm.

Over the years that a member of my family has been treated by Tri County I found them to be truly wonderful. He sees "Ms Bette" and without her I can tell you our lives would have been turned upside down on many occasions. She taught the patient and his parent about the meds which are our option and was always ready to answer questions when we were confused about certain behaviors following new meds. Its not an easy thing to live with bi-polar disease for the patient or even the family, but with help from Ms Bette and Dr. Sophia things have been a lot calmer. I want to thank you both for what you do. I would have loved to have put the fifth star on the top but unfortunately I have not had good repore with the front office. Recently an error was made by them thus causing my son not to get his medication on time...as I tried numerous times to correct the error by phone I was "black listed" up front and thus never got to speak with Bette. Then I was asked not to call....thus I felt really sad that we couldnt work out the initial problem. My intent was to just ask a question and get advice.... Such a shame as there are lovely people there, but a few make it so difficult and cause such stress......and then it seems to be taken out on the wrong people.... Thank you again for the wonderful care you give to our son. It is sincerely appreciated.

I cant believe some of the reviews I have read. The overall staff I find to be caring, and compassionate. I see Bette. I have seen Sophia in the office, and Aftab while in the hospital. All three were wonderful. I would recommend this office to friends and family, as a matter of fact I already have. The only issue I have is the wait time. Perhaps not scheduling so many people in an hour would alleviate this problem. After all our time is valuable as well. Other than that, they are truly caring and listen to you. You do not feel rushed, as least I havent ever felt that way. One other issue is their recorded message when you call. It goes on and on. Just give me the extensions so I can get on with business. I called on Friday 9/9/16 left a complete detailed message in the am that my Therapist referred me for a script. I called again a few minutes ago and spoke to someone who cut me off as I was speaking. I told her that I had left a message on Friday and I got no response. She stated that they werent taking new patients. I said it would have been nice to receive a call back and she hung up on me. How rude and unprofessional especially for a mental health facility. I called back and asked for her name and she hung up on me again. Shame on you! Dr. Sofia Qadir I will be calling the better business bureau as well. To report your staffs inappropriate behavior for a mental health facility.
