My mother was a recent patient at Lake Harris Health Center. PROS: The facility is nice, newly remodeled, meals were good, CNAs did a nice job, as did the activities staff. PT/OT was good although I did witness one physical therapist shaming my mother for not working harder and he made false statements to her that I witnessed. CONS: We found the cross functional work processes inadequate. There were too many errors/mistakes to list here. Case management to be seriously deficient. We deem some of the mistakes that were made to be critical in nature and potentially toxic/fatal to our mother. If you put your loved one in here, you must be local, visit often, insist on detailed information about their care and be prepared to be a strong advocate for them.
