My husband is the patient just info. He is 70 sometimes forget things get confuse lack of oxigen u know and also stubborn so he come home and change the way he will take medications and all that u know so I always go to my husbands appointments until now that this "DR." had advice my husband that he (my husband) dont need to bring me that he can talk for himself that he is capable enough. Not that I did not let my husband talk at the first appointment the only one I have been since my husband start with this dr (because of his recomendations to my husband and the way he (the dr ) make me fill that first appointment. I will never forget that day he humiliate me in his office the dr, and then my husband got realy mad too me and it was really a mess. All I wanted to do was to be able to remember know and verify that my husband was receiving the appropriate health info and care. I am calling well care and going to change my husband primary. Not professional, rude. This dr went and change my husband primary dr without any reason and did not told me or my husband and when my husband was so sick needed to see other drs he could not because he did not have a primary dr. The office lack of communication between then them self so no one know the correct information. Thanks Dr. Coronado for making my life more complicated.I though you were real when you congratulate me for taking care of my husband. Nowadays is hard to fund a dr. that really care for patients. Be careful when you select.

Everything was normal until the day I went with my husband and my daughters. First, the nurse asked me about go in the doctor office alone, and I told her that I wanted to go with them because they were with me. She told me that she had to ask to the doctor if I could pass with them. I dont know why not, because that was a basic appointment, I want stay with them, and finally my husband had and appointment with him too. My daughters are so well behaved and that day while the doctor was checking me, they were talking with my husband. Suddenly, the doctor stopped the medical checkup, and rudely told to my husband that he had to leave with my daughters the office because he was feeling deconcentrated, and He cant continue if they were there. My husband got out with my daughters and immediately cancel his appointment. We never came back. I dont recommend this doctor, not only for his rudeness with my husband, but also because if you want an appointment with him you have to wait at least 2 month to get in contact with. His answer was. " Due to I have a doctor practitioner, she can handle with the patients if they want a closer appointment". I think if I look for a specific doctor, my appointment must be with him, not with somebody extra, thats why I paying for. An excellent doctor must be concerned about provide quality of time and service to their patients.

I have had a stroke and was on a statin medication before I saw Dr Coronado. He felt my Cholesterol should be lower so he put me on the highest dose of a statin drug. Im 52 and weigh 118 lbs. After being on this high dose I complained that I was so week that I had trouble stepping up on the little stool to sit on the examination table. He changed my medication to one that had half the mg. but was still the highest dose for that new medication. I guess he thought I was too stupid to realize this. I stopped seeing him and I still have some weakness, although not as bad as it was. I have had blood work come back recently showing bad liver results even though I was on a low dose of statin. Since that blood work, my new Dr. has taken me off statin medication completely. This is serious for me because I have other arteries leading to my brain that are 50% clogged and require an operation in the future if they get worse. He was right to be concerned about my cholesterol but the medication was too strong for me and he didnt listen to me as a patient. I had been on statins for 10 years before I saw him and now my body cant tolerate them and I personally believe it goes back to when he put me on that high dose.

Doctor Boris Coronado is a well educated, experienced, and excellent physician with great bedside manners. His Nurse Practitioner is also excellent. Unfortunately, some of his staff have a lot to be desired. The front office lady in the waiting room polite and friendly, but most of the times I call the back office folks, the phone rings and rings. When they finally answer the phone, they quickly tell you to hold, and put you on hold before you have a chance to say anything. The other back office lady with the raspy voice is oftentimes curt and rude.

Dr. Coronado is a good Dr. However his staff on the other hand are idiots! They never call you back after leaving several messages and if you do get a hold of someone after being on hold for 10 to 15 minutes their appointment times are 1 to 2 months out and again they will inform you they will call you back and never do. They also never have my records up to date when I come in for appointments. etc

Dr. Coronado is absolutely the best Dr. He is the only doctor I have found that takes his time with each patient and goes out of his way to do the best for you.

Took 3 hours at Jewett Orthopedic to get a referral for treatment. Was hung up on 7 times and transfered 5 times. Worst office staff Ive ever had to deal with.
