I was never the one to write bad reviews but in this case and my experience at Family Dental Associates I had no choice. This place doesnt even deserve a one star from me. It has to be the WORST place to get any dental procedures done. I had 3 fillings and a Root Canal done here and it has been the worst mistake in my life. For every fillings theyve done, Ive experienced more and more pain. I cant eat any type of foods and the cold sensitivity was getting worst and worst. They put in all of my 3 fillings wrong.Their response to me was to give it time, Itll go away. NOPE! this has been going on for 6 months now. Still in pain. I cant count how many times Ive gone back for the same problem and no one, NOT a Doctor seems to care. All they care about is Money! its all about the money for them. They told me I needed a Root canal, a Crown...blah blah. Its always one thing after another. Itll only seem for every fillings that was done I needed a root canal for...nothing seems to make sense. The owner Dr Roberts, is worst of them all. I went in today of course, for the same old problem hoping itll get resolve. NOPE! he did not want to listen to what I had to say, his excuse was I had a crack on my tooth and I needed a crown for it...wait WHAT!?! They will NOT get anymore money out of me. This place is a JOKE! he does NOT care about his patients at all. Hes all about the money and I would NOT recommend anyone to go to this place. Please stay as far away as possible! No one deserve to be treated as Dr Roberts treated me today. Very DISRESPECTFUL and so unprofessional! Worst dentist place ever!!

I didnt even get a chance to come in for a consultation before having issues with this office, which I guess in the end saved me more trouble! I made an appointment not too long ago and unfortunately, I was not able to make it. When I called to reschedule, the lady told me that I had a $30 "no-show" fee on my account. In absolute shock, I explained that I was not aware of the companies $30 "no-show" fee policy. She kindly explained that it is protocol for all staff members to make patients aware of the "no-show" fee when booking an appointment; however, I explained to her once more that this was never explained to me, otherwise I definitely would have handled the situation differently and called ahead of time to cancel my appointment. I mean, seriously, who wants to pay $30 for no reason when it could have been avoided? So the lady put me on hold to ask the staff member who made my appointment if she had explained the fee to me and of course, she said that she did. I completely understand that this is her job and she does not want to be penalized for this, but she DID NOT explain this to me AT ALL! I am not pleased with this office at all and most definitely will not be paying this "no-show" fee because in no way, shape, or form is it my fault. I will have to find another dentist now, so people, watch out for that $30 "no-show" fee if they dont happen to explain that to you while making your appointment!

Do not trust this business! The office first sells you a dental plan which supposedly will provide for lower costs for dental services. Included in the brochure provided by the dentists office are the prices one will be charged for services. Although they include "oral surgery . . extraction" in the brochure at a price of $85.00, once my husband actually paid an additional fee just for a consult, he was told that the "dentist" cant extract the teeth, that it has to be done by an "oral surgeon" at a fee of $243.50, almost 3 times as much as advertised! Also, they provided us with an upfront quote which includes a "total fee" for all services; however, they now claim that the "total fee" did not include all of the services listed in the quote! I spoke with Dr. Roberts, and even after acknowledging the numerous mistakes and misquotes made by his staff, he refused to honor the original quote. The original quote for all services was $2,285 which number we relied on in making a decision about which dentist to use. The actual fee charged for the services was $4,997.50! More than double the original quote. Moreover, the front desk staff are rude!!!! I would not trust this business!!!!

First off, I dont live here. I got into a car accident on Friday in Atlanta, GA and had to fly down here immediately after. The accident caused me to chip my tooth from the impact. My grandmother and I decided to just check on tooth before I leave today. As soon as I called the receptionist Cindy asked if I could come in asap I said YES. I got there and I was put in the chair immediately. They found out what was wrong, told me what procedure needed to take place and was ready to perform it. Of course, insurance is always headache, but thats not their fault. As soon as insurance was cleared, they lead me to the room and went straight to work. I had to get a root canal. The entire time of the procedure they made me feel comfortable, kept me informed the entire time, made me feel relaxed and completed the job with ease. I cant remember the dental assistants name but she was so lovely and nice. Dr. Roberts kept me laughing and the other doctor made the procedure smooth. It was effortless and quick. In and out with no sweat. I would travel down here just for anything dental!!!! I had a great experience!!!

Shame on me, it had been about 1 year since I recently made it back into Family Dental for teeth cleaning. I was a bit confused when I walked in and saw so many new smiling faces. My hygienist, Roberta, was one of those new people. Having been used to the previous hygienist, I was obviously unsure as to how it was going to go. Wow, Roberta was extremely effective at the task and made me feel absolutely comfortable during the procedure. I wish I knew more people like her. Dr. Burke came in, introduced himself, and signed off on the cleaning at the end. He too took the time to make me feel good about my experience. Its nice to see positive and welcoming behaviors still exist!

The hygienist was going to be late, they call me 10 minutes before my appointment and lie and tell me they called 45 minutes prior. I was sitting outside in my car and offered to come in and show them my call log. The receptionist had clearly been lying and was upset because I brought it to her attention. The doctor recommended some work be done and they quoted me outrageous prices and didnt even verify if they were covered by my insurance. Instead they called me into an office to sell me Invisalign, when they could have been conducting business accordingly. Trust me, choose another dentist. This was an experience I wouldnt wish on my worst enemy.

Lets start by saying I hate going to the dentist but this one was different I had to go three times and then fix my mouth. Each time was a great experience. The first time I was so scared but when I got in that seat Debbie was so nice and so was the root canal doctor for got his name but he is the one with awesome hair. And I had no pain after it was awesome. I think everyone should go there and now the my will soon be my lil brothers. And I will be seeing there orthodontist now because of the great service I had with the dental side. I recommend this place for people who dont like going to the dentist or just people in general.
