This place has turned from a doctors office to a dirty scam. I went here a couple years ago for some acne problems and was prescribed medicine that cleared the issue right up. Thats when it WAS a good dermatology office. The other day I came back for the same issues. When I was waiting in the exam room for 20 mins I noticed dirt and hair all over the floor. I threw away my water bottle in the tall garbage can that was full to the top with garbage! This is all in the exam room! Then under the door comes a COCK ROACH!! I followed it with my eyes as it crawled along the base board until it went into the wall and didnt come back out. I wanted to leave so bad, I was nervous to tell them why I must leave so I stuck it out. Then the "DCOTOR" came in... instead of prescribing me medicine, the doctor tried to sell me face cleaner I could go to ULTA and buy at half of the cost! It was the same brand DERMALOGICA ( obviously this would not be covered by insurance ) Then tried to push me into getting a facial. When I told the doctor I would do it if insurance would cover it she said.. " Unfourtunatly insurance wont cover facials, or waxing, But I dont know why because it affects peoples self esteem" That is just redlicious! I wish my insurance would pay for everything that may affect my self esteem! Then I would have someone follow me around all day to tell me how great I look and tell me I am always right. :) This place has gone bad. The place is a reck, They try to be more like a spa then a dr office, and try to upsell to their paitents waxing, and facials. I was so dissapointed. It was so dirty and roaches in a dr office!! I have never even heard of a dr office being so gross. Save your self some time and money, call around for a real Dermatology office with a real Doctor!

I saw Physicians Assistant (PA) Janette Gluck to have some moles and skin tags examined and removed, and a wart and separate rash on my hand checked out. Janette is a huge asset to this dermatology office. She was extremely professional. Very knowledgeable. Fantastic bedside manner. We had a great chat while she was working on me, which helped distract me from the smell of my burning flesh from the cautery where skin tags, moles, and warts were removed. Very little pain after, only a small amount of discomfort. Im 36 years old and Ive seen a few dermatologists in different parts of the country where I have lived, and Janette provided the best dermatology experience Ive had thus far. I would highly recommend her and by extension Florida Dermatology Associates, despite the Bible pushing (healing for the soul?) the owner is doing in the lobby.

Waited over an hour past my apt time. Finally saw Elmer for about 30 seconds, then waited 15 more minutes for what they wanted to bill me for services. I was there for over an hour and a half, which really sucked to waste my time. I decided to leave without treatment, then they wanted to charge me anyways. Not cool, not professional, would not recommend them.

The personal of this office is rude an unprofessional with a poor costumer service. There are better options out there, dont waste your time and money with them. Thanks
