Extremely rude and ignorant staff. We had found an animal that was severely hurt and called to have it picked up. Instead of calling us back or coming to rescue this animal (2 miles away from rescue) they chose to ignore us. Despite this being a dangerous animal, we brought it in ourselves because it deserved immediate care. We were greeted, more like glared at when we informed the staff that we brought the animal. After refusing to listen to us on how we found this animal, they jumped to conclusions and told us that it wasnt going to make it. We left this "rescue" with an uneasy feeling that we left the animal in awful care and they did not want it there. The staff by far was one of the worst staffs I have ever spoken to as well. I have been calling and leaving messages to find out the state of this animal and we have not had any calls back. We will NEVER leave an animal at that place they call a rescue.

last year I brought them a baby possum, they were very friendly and thankful, this year I called about a sandhill crane that I saw on the side of the road that had a plastic bead stuck on its beak causing it to be disformed, they were understaffed so they couldnt go to the bird on the Sunday afternoon, they gave me the number of animal services so that the bird could get thw help it needed.Thank you for your help and hope that you can keep upvthe good work

Had 3 baby rabbits in my fenced yard where my dog goes. My dog would not leave them alone she wanted them to play. I knew my lawn service was coming today and didnt want to see anything happen to those precious babies. I called the sanctuary and asked if i could bring them there as i could not take care of them, they were very friendly and helpful. I gave them a donation to help take care of the babies. I just hope they make it.

I greatly appreciate the presence of Florida Wildlife Hospital in our county. On 2 occasions over the years I have utilized them to care for Wildlife babies. They have been excellent. I am very thankful for their extraordinary work. I became a member again today and will continue to support them in their good work!
