I never ever go by reviews! Cause half of them are family/ friend posting nice things! I have learned this unfortunately by mistakes, and trial and error. I called dr cintron office two weeks ago. Made the appointment, cause I was diagnosed with a serious DX . I got the appointment for today ( Monday August 21, 2017) I had called my PCP to get the referral and authorization from my insurance. I had the apt for this Monday at 2:30 pm. Requested time off from work, only to be called this past Friday and asked what was the reason o was coming in? I said my diagnosis and put in hold for like 10 min only to have the girl come back and tell me that the doctor could see me cause of my diagnosis! I was dooo upset! I told the girl, you guys need to ask this before making an appointment! hung up , and within a min get another call to confirm my apt again. I was??? what? I told the girl listen you just called me and told me that he could not see me! She was very apologetic, but this is totally unacceptable! I have years of experience in customer service and I hate to say this, but we are loosing this big time! I told the girl, you need to ask first what this doctor like to treat before making the appointments!

Totally disgusted with his lack of compassion. He treated my father as just another hopeless Parkinsons patient and completely disregarded my genuine fear of losing my father to this horrible disease. Knowing Cintron graduated from my alma mater (UM)is an embarrassing. All I wanted to do is ask him a few questions regarding the most important person in my life, my father.

Dr. John R. Cintron is an excellent neurologist, in addition to being a good caring physician who follow-up and follows through in his duties. Physicians diagnose patients and prepare a plan of care for us patients to improve our health, however, it is up to us patients to follow the physician advice if we are to be healthier..

He performed a test on my leg which was totally unnecessary and charged me $600 bucks ! It left my leg numb and Im still in pain.
