On December 6, 2016, I had back surgery performed by Dr. Jonathan Hyde, and it was done at The Miami Medical Center. From the moment I walked into the hospital, my nervous jitters were quickly calmed by my assigned patient ambassador, but by the atmosphere and the resort decor of the facility. It had the feel of a 5 star hotel and not a hospital. From that moment on, including the pre-op and the post-op, I was made to feel like a VIP. The care and professionalism of the healthcare staff involved before and after my surgery was indeed unbelievable. The hospital not only worried about my well being, but they also took time to ensure the comfort of my family. From a complimentary massage while I was in surgery, to complimentary beverages once I was in my room. My room, was not a typical hospital room, it looked more like a suite in at a Caribbean hotel. The suite had its own ambassador who was willing to assist my family and I in any non-medical ways, including providing the beverages and menus in the event that they wanted to have dinner. The ambassadors that were assigned to my suite were Waldina and Angela. They both went out of their way to ensure our comfort and did not hesitate with any request that we made. Once in my room after the surgery, my first nurse was Ashley. She was attentive to my needs and ensured that I was as comfortable as I could be after a lumbar surgical procedure. The overnight nurse, Anete, was as helpful as Ashely and she also ensured my comfort and did everything possible to lower my pain level,. Anete even consulted with the hospital physician so that I could get other medications to alleviate my pain. The one thing that I wont forget about Anete was that she warned me that around 4 am, she would be coming to take my vitals and draw blood. Having had previous surgeries in other hospital, I know that being awakened in the middle of the night is usually a very uncomfortable and startling experience. However, when Anete came to wake me up, she softly began to speak to me and waited until I was fully awake for her to began to turn on the lights and finish her examination. My overall experience of the hospital was excellent. Not only by the way I was treated by all healthcare staff, but by other employees, who from behind the scenes did their jobs to ensure that my recovery and the time spent at the hospital was as pleasing as one could experience. Other healthcare facilities should look at The Miami Medical Centers business model as a way to emulate their concept in the treatment of the patients and family members.

I had my baby at this medical center the experience was awesome, very clean, organized, and a beautiful staff, everybody who works here is very kind, they are very helpful, very good nurses, babelym, Virginia, Tanya, all the staff was very helpful michell, waldina, Tuti, Esther, Elizabeth, I would like to have all the names to say thank you so much for your time and patient. El 10 de noviembre del 2016 nacio mi bebe aqui, desde la llegada las personas Que trabajan aqui son muy atentos, todo muy limpio, ordenado, todo el personal es muy responsable, y tienen muy buen trato, la atencion muy personalizada, las enfermeras muy atentas, Tanya, Virginia, esther, babelym, estuvieron conmigo hasta el ultimo dia, las housekeeping muy agradables, gracias a Virginia, Tanya, babelym, Esther las enfermeras que me atendieron y estuvieron conmigo hasta el ultimo dia, tambien gracias a waldina, tuti, Esther, Elizabeth, y muchos mas que faltan, pero gracias a todos por el trato y la paciencia, definitivamente regresaria y recomendaria este lugar 100%

I would highly recommend the Miami Medical Center the service is the best,very attentive. The Miami Medical Center provides all patients with appropriate services in a highly professional manner with good communication. The Miami Medical Center surgeons bring in a much higher return for their time, I believe they do somethings that require remarkable skill and training. All nurses take care of all patients 24/7 in getting their vitals and assisting all patients with daily activities and giving the proper care as a team effort. The Miami Medical Center has a friendly and family atmosphere. All nurses are very friendly to the patients as a patient I am very satisfied with their care. The nurses and aides are kind and reassuring. My moms surgery was explained step by step I would highly recommend if your doctor is here. Patient care is awesome as a patient you do not feel like leaving the hospital but the Miami Medical Center hospital is not your regular hospital. The Miami Medical Center hospital does not feel a hospital I thought I was checking into a 5 star hotel. As a patient you really do not feel like leaving the hospital you actually hope for the lenght of stay to prolong but you have no choice because you have been discharged. All staff personnel have a high standard positive optimism with great smiles. The most enjoyable part of the Miami Medical Center hospital is truly the optimism and satisfaction in witnessing how all patients received the proper respect and recognition from the Miami Medical Center staff. The caring and fast service is 100% you received from Tuti, Angela , Tamara, Ashley , Lazaro, Sheera , Endor, Anthony , Elizabeth , Dulce and Maura. The Miami Medical Center staff is 100% helpful , supportive and very organized. Great hospital with great food and a beautiful cafeteria. In conclusion great atmosphere , great attitude , great patient care , excellent direct patient and guest interaction.

My husband and I recently spent some time at this first rate DOCTOR owned hospital. The amazing Dr. Sanjay Razdan scheduled my husbands robotic prostectomy at this fine facility. With our aggressive cancer diagnosis our stress levels were extremely high upon entering. The moment we walked in we quickly felt at ease. Who better to facilitate a patients care but a team of doctors who have thought of every little detail. I hadnt had any plans of leaving my husbands side even if it meant sitting in an uncomfortable chair all night long. Trust me I was apprehensive wondering how my own body would feel while staying close to my husband. As I said theyve thought of everything right down to the Tempurpedic mattress in the sofa bed where I was able to rest as well. I still find it absolutely amazing that they not only considered the needs of each patient but their family members as well. We were surrounded by dedicated professional team members who went above and beyond to make our stay extremely comfortable and stress free. Suhail our medi-surgery provider is extraordinary. What a little cutie! Suhails departing instructions prepared us with so much post-op care instructions and knowledge that we felt confident leaving and carrying out our home care on our own. Each and every staff member from registration to discharge was extremely compassionate. The ambiance and the meals we were served were more like a five star hotel then any other hospital we have experienced. Lets hope other medical facilities catch on and provide their patients with the same outstanding medical care! Well done! Miami Medical Center youre definitely a leader in the health care industry. Thank you all for the forethought and providing us with outstanding medical care!
