I have to say that I am unfortunately stuck coming here most of the time because it is close to my house and in most cases they have been EMERGENCIES. Let me start of by saying that Hialeah Hospital is the worst place you can EVER and I mean ever....go to. Lets start by the savages that run the emergency room - a disaster. They lack education, respect, communication and most importantly - KNOWLEDGE. These doctors and nurses will examine you in anyway possible they can and give you no results on why you are sick in the first place. Although they do shove meds down your throat with endless ct scans and sonograms. Once they have been done sucking your blood in the E.R and feeding you endless meds (a quick 6-8 hours) they finally either send you home with your same injuries and some shitty motrin or you are sent upstairs to Be ADMITTED.(THIS IS WHERE YOU RUN!)Being admitted into Hialeah hospital is the worst life decision you will EVER make. Once you get upstairs; mind you still in pain. There will be a mob of unqualified "nurses" ready to mistreat you and tell you what to do and what not to do. Taking a shower is one of the no-nos at Hialeah hospital since they demand you wear a heart monitor at all times no matter what. this is not just on one floor...Ive encountered it in many different floors of this hospital and with different members of my family. Instead of taking off the monitor and issuing new patches to their patients after their shower they decide to tell them its a hospital rule and they cannot just take it off. After dealing with that for a few hours and maybe some days (if you dont fight like I did) the expected Doctor comes by and explains nothing to you about your case and is actually sending you to do more labs and more test before he tells you what he "thinks" you got going on. Not only does he not know what hes doing but he also gives you a great deal of attitude for asking questions that he simply hasnt answered. Turns around and asks you to speak to another doctor and just leaves. this was the last experience I had at this hospital. These savage people will kill you and make you worse. Ive actually had one person die there that came in with normal shortness of breath. If you want to continue living and you love your loved ones please do not visit this hospital. It is unsafe and unreliable.

I was in their ER a week ago and the staff was awful, I asked for water and they would ignore me, finally one guy that was from a rescue unit happened to hear me complain to my friend over the phone came in with a glass of water. When I was admitted to a room it took them 2 hours to bring me a pitch of water, the lady next to me on bed b, aked the nurse several times for a blanket she was freezing and she was ignored if it not had been for my husband who went out the room and got her a blanket she would have still been ignored. Nurses are horrible the male nurse would come in with a bunch of pills and would tell me to take them because it was protocol and all patients took them , I said I wasnt going to take them because one was for ulcers which I dont have, the other was was for blood clots which I did not have, and the third one was for blood pressure but different from the one I usually have, the nurse got upset because I brought my own blood pressure pills the ones I took every day and told me to tell my husband to take them home ( which of course I did not). Nurses are not kind and get upset if you refuse a pill. Awful place, next time I have an emergency I will go to Memorial West Hospital in Pembroke which has an excellent , professional and caring staff. The reason I came to Hialeah Hosp because I was feeling too sick to drive all the way to Pembroke. Next time I will get Uber to take me to Memorial West Hospital, where the care is excellent.
