I have been coming to this office for years and the only reason I continued to come was because of Michael Carpino. He is fantastic but since he has left I will no longer be tolerating the incompetence of his front office support staff. I called TWO WEEKS AGO to inform them that my anti-depressants were no longer working and that I was becoming manic...I have yet to hear back from them with a doctors recommendation. All I can say is thank God Im not suicidal and waiting on them. A couple tips if youre going to actually go to this office: 1. Dont ever leave a message for the nurses because they will not call you back. You will need to call multiple times and always try to speak to a receptionist in hopes that she will catch a nurse for you but even then its unlikely. 2. If there are any issues with your billing or insurance (even if you were unaware or its an issue on the insurances part) the receptionists will rudely announce to the entire waiting room that you are delinquent. Im pretty sure that violates HIPPA but regardless its rude and unnecessary. 3. It will take them weeeeeeks to get what ever documentation you need so always plan ahead. I needed a letter for my ESA (emotional support animal) for the airlines and it took me over a month to get it.

What a poor excuse for office staff. I have spent the day calling and Ive left a message with only a machine, no matter if I push 1 for appointments, try the nurses station, push 0, it doesnt matter. They never answer the phone and my friend has waited 2 weeks for a call back. Once, I had to call to get my results (I was waiting to make sure I didnt have thyroid cancer, so it was kind of important) and when I finally spoke to someone, she said, "well, your file says you were notified." I told her, "I can assure you, I still dont have the results." I am a Patient Care Coordinator and if I ran our office like this, Id have been fired within the week. The only reason many of us went there is Michael Carpino. Now that hes gone, Im sure they wont be nearly as busy because the patients are leaving them too. The administrative staff could care less about patients.

Overall this is a great office. The staff are overwhelmed but handle it well. Since the PA left it has been much more efficient. Glad I found them! The phone system is a mess and they assure its getting fixed. As for the other reviews it sounds like disgruntled patients with a personal affinity for "Mike". Maybe they didnt stop to think that its not the staffs fault but the providers fault for not answering the messages. And for $125 you can get a letter for your ESA on just about any website. Just FYI.
